I'm gonna step in with a suit made of asbestos.

It was far less riskier to trade as a zoner. A lot of faction pirates (me included) left them be since we "landed" sometimes to their bases. And if someone pirated zoners (even though repeatedly said that zoners are not immune to pirates) it caused a small uproar in the forums.

Personally I feel for those long time zoners who were not using the zoners for powertrading tool. A lot of people were zoners just in name. having that 5k and free to go anywhere where the maximum profits were. Hardly promoting the RP.

Like someone pointed out if you still want to wander about freely there's always the Indie trader ID and BWT. But that cuts the profits. I think those free spirits can live with that combination too.

I fervently hope that raising profits in this version lessens the grind feel, so people will have time to stop and role play for a change. Me included.

I honestly think trading in 4.85 had a bad trend to it. Hopefully the revised system cuts it.
