Spatial handles like a dead cow.

Go with the Zoner Gunboat.

Dead cow eeewww. My guess is that it's only a little better than Kusari Explorer then?

I've explored Gallia with the Kusari Explorer. It's got the firepower. When you go into Gallia you may want dual missiles to help deal with those NPC bombers.

I find it handles quite nicely, just think of it as a larger VHF

It's alot more maneuverable then the explorer.

I'd say the Spatial. The real reason for my suggestion is the infocard.

Quote:E78-12 "Spatial" Civilian Deep Space Explorer

The Spatial is often employed by members of the Independent Miners Guild for exploring the asteroid fields of the Taus and Omegas. Larger than most fightercraft the Spatial packs nearly the same punch as some military bombers, but its real attributes are to be found in the extended pilot bay and full sized geological survey suite that is the hallmark of this far ranging vessel.

Capable of sustained flight beyond a system's heliosphere to adjacent systems, the spatial possess he cold sleep and life support systems to maintain up to five persons for years of sustained voyaging. Armed with six long burn Ageira engines, any of which are capable of powering the craft independantly, in addition to internal access to critical ship systems.

IMG pilots often retrofit their vessels with the basic tools required to glean an additional yeild, when coupled with specially tuned mining equipment, from mineral and gemstone deposits.

Stats

Gun/Turret Mounts: 6/3
Armor: 29600
Cargo Space: 180
Max Batteries/NanoBots: 270/270
Optimal Weapon Class: 8
Max. Weapon Class: 10
Additional Equipment: 2xM, CM, CD/Heavy Torpedo

This infocard makes me want to create an explorer character myself. That and the Spatial is just good clean fun to fly. It handles like the Thor bomber if you've ever flown one. But it is a massive model.

They are excellent-performing engines whose only downside are that they report everything they do and everywhere they go to Pueblo Station.

Alrighty then.

Initial decision: Zoner GB is out of the game. So far I'm equally impressed by both Kusari Explorer and Spatial.
