new thread, cause this is now the final version that will most probably be submitted like that or only slightly altered.

in the high right corner is a render of the already skinned stationary dreadnought. it will be sitting beneath the order station that will function as a fully grown main habitat and battlestation.

size of the dreadnought: twice the length of an osiris, almost three times taller ( so its basicly similar to a kusari battleship ) - i don t think we need a model comparison, cause everyone knows how large the kusari battleship is.

the skin of the dreadnought is meant to be dark and to suggest extremely great armour. - its windows are rather small for a ship of that size ( compared to the zoner juggernaut for example )

the station will show only slight resemblence to the egyptian theme ( but still noticable ) - there are a few obelisks as center pieces - but also the four pointy towers ( similar to the vanilla habitats ).

huge storage room and fuel depots are meant to supply the whole order fleet - and 3 modular corridors are "open ended" so a vanilla docking port can be attached to them.

while the dreadnought looks much like a rather grim and dark ship - the order station is meant to be quite illuminated. - unlike vanilla stations, it will have VERY many windows and lights attached - after all... people are actually living there.

when it comes to dimensions - there are larger stations in disco - much larger ones. but when it comes to complexity - this station is meant to be state of the art - with effectivly used space in a rather compact station.

dreadnought and station will be separate meshes - so the station will get a number of normal station weapons - while the dreadnought can be hardpointed with battleship turrets to defend itself.

Now that is epic. Well done Jinx.

Where are the docking points?

below the habitat section ( between the towers and the fuel tanks ) - you can see several straight extensions. - the system modders can place vanilla docking ports on the end of them.

the whole thing is probably a huge pain to hitbox ( i d probably suggest only a very rough hitbox ) - and docking ports need to be quite far away from it - or larger ships get stuck in it - like they get stuck in many asteroid bases.

when docking is a problem - i might also extend the corridors a bit more - so that docking happens quite "far" from the station - like ... docking points are 2k away from the main structure.

Agreed, fantastic work.

What sort of environment will it be in? I mean will it be obscured by a nebula? Which would be a shame after all the work you did on this.

Good work Jinx! This looks very good. After moving the Dread there, we will RP the construction of that base part over it.

I liked this. Good job.

And no, it won't be "in" a nebula but hiding "behind" one, considering its size.

Hit me with the files, and I'll have a go at it. You got any items on it that can be shot of and appear as debris, besides the turrets ?

i noticed something that now seems to be repeating...

textures...

textures that you are using are very simplistic...(from new zoner GB, zoner carrier, Persephone, some others i cant remember now and now order dread... )....large areas covered with that metal like texture...Granted...that may be ok for zoner ships since their capital ship line is custom made...but shouldn't order ships keep order textures?

Very nice model, if I'm reading the dimensions right compared to the Osiris, would this model be locked out of asteroid fields? That is a big ship.
