Halp with roleplay (Order welcome)

As a few people in Omicron Minor can attest today, I'm planning on hosting an IRP ball event for Order and friends on Toledo. I want to know whether to make this an event or an ongoing RP (like a watering hole).

Drinks, food, entertainment, ball dancing for Order and friends who need a break or who cannot find action. I will elaborate as questions come up. Currently I'm coming up with happenings for the ball (such as games, comedians, etc).

The character I announced this on was the ATG|Khalis Order Recon Vessel. I believe Bastet, HUNTER, Waratah, and Mr.Goodkat were around at the time.

I think perhaps making it a watering hole event would be expedient.
Also, it's not going to fit on a Recon Cruiser.

I believe that I changed the idea so that the event will be on Toledo.

Also, more feedback/suggestions would be nice from Order folks interested in attending.

However, proper planning is required.

Corsairs, Zoners, Hogosha?

Maybe Zoners.

Corsairs are piratical allies that we put up with. Not people we'd invite to balls. Hogosha are even more estranged... These alliances are under debate, and are rather silly when you think about the current situations.

Zoners are a big maybe. Maybe only a few trusted captains should be allowed - and yes, I'm thinking that this, in RP, would be invitation only.


I thought this should just be a private Order military ball.
No other factions should be invited to it.


But that is simply what I think.

I'd go with Katie, but she really isn't the sort of person who goes to a ball. If someone asked her though, she'd probably go for the free food.
Not really sure how you could do this though, would it be ongoing in say, a forum thread? Or ingame. Either way would require very descriptive RP.

What I say is, do not invite other people. Order only. And yes, do include fun activities, might prove to be a light hearted change from the usual serious Order RP.
