Is it powergaming? Maybe. Is it metagaming? Wouldn't know. Is it creating quality rp? Most certainly.

And now for the most important question...

Just how many people would Ontario's independance negatively impact? None.

All this has done is create roleplay, it's not as if anyone is going to be shot at except for perhaps the LSF and LPI, or in the worst case scenario, the LN.
These are people who are used to being shot at with no more notice than "ENGANAJING", and I'm sure they'd see PvP in a proper roleplay context as a nice change from the norm.

Joe's been good, Zapp's been good, but sorry fellas, we really don't need your OK on our RP. If you don't want to be part of it, don't be. Both the LN and the LPI have rolled into it and done a good job of it by my account.

But don't come in here with your higher-than-though attitudes (Dab) and think that just because you weren't involved in something makes it lesser than if you were.

You faction leaders on your little power trips like this one, accusing someone of powergaming, metagaming, supergaming, and any other x-gaming name you an throw out to undermine what's up to this point been a pretty fun forum and ingame RP session that has organically flowed, with multiple personalities coming in. Oh dear lord, it's even involving the indies instead of factions (Ke Lin and Jimmy P) and the unofficial factions of Sirius.

Instead of whining about not being consulted (pardon our ineptitude oh great lords), how about incorporating yourself into the story line as it is now. Think about it as your character just now hearing about it instead of having prior out-of-character knowledge...wait, isn't that metagaming, powergaming, or whatever?

And besides, the GC have nothing to do w/ the Ontario incidents Dab, I believe you should go search for "Sword of the Coalition" and do your b*tching there.

I would like to ask people not to fuel the fire because it is an unfair thing to do. I mean seriously people, it promotes the thing we shy away from. It promotes doubt among the players who would love to promote the further roleplay but are afraid to step out, because I can think of some people that would fall into tantrums after second page.
