How intresting, sounds exactly like the situation that drove TBH from the Council yes? TBH make a deal with someone only to have the OPG threaten to attack those ships because OPG wasnt getting it's share of the profits. You are doing the exact same thing now, but now you want to use faction rules to get advantage in an RP situation. Yet you make posts about how we cant get along with the council, we do the same thing you do and get threatened for it, and you expect us to stand by and let it happen?
Edit: And maybe if OPG hadent made a deal with the Bucs to allow them to bring OC ships to Crete, this wouldnt have happened. Also, I have not heard one word from "The Council" reguarding the Buccaners, maybe this is a deal not between the Council and Bucs, but between OPG and bucs that you are trying to powerplay using rules that have nothing to do with rp.
Look end of the story is TBH is a Corsair faction, the oldest Corsair faction on the server and one that has been around longer than the Benitez and OPG combined, yet you seem to think it's right to make us less than the other Corsair factions, which is bull. You go ahead and try, I will make sure there are severe in-rp consequences to trying to marginilize TBH. You want TBH hostile to OPG? This is the way to do it.

Quite frankly im become very bored with both of you. Your personal feeling toward one another are bringing the names fo TBH and OPG into disrepute.

Zelot nothign would make me happier than to have the TBH represented in the council again. Furthermore id like to invite in a couple more representatives of other corsair factions.

I know mistakes were made by OPG and also by TBH. I am however prepared to listen and learn from those mistakes. Please consider what your writing in this thread and cease the inflamatory ****E thats spewing from both of your mouths.

OPG is something i want to be proud of and TBH is the same for you Zelot. lets not throw muck at each other here please.

There is a potential problem in areas where there is more than one official faction - and not just the Corsairs.

If one faction says that they want an individual (or perhaps even a groups) IFF changed, but the other official factions disagree.... what then?

Do the Admin listen to both parties and decide accordingly? Seems like some people will end up being dissappointed.

Most of our business is conducted in skype. Id love to see the TBH back in there helping us to bring corsair leadership back up to scratch. This rule would be a lot more effective if we were sticking together and discussing the issues we face.

Im a big faz of Zelot and he knows that. The two people causing this argument are both close to me and its a shame i cant get them to work with each other because they both add a lot of value to corsairs.

Edit: and yes we could come back to the council, we have been asked several times, and each time I have said we will not return without a garentee that factions will be able to conduct thier own diplomacy, and each time that has not happened.

You sir could benefit from joining the Zoner Alliance. This is exactly why the ZTC left the Council of Zoners. But that's another topic entirely.

Ontopic: Time will tell if Right #5 is a good idea or not. We can't judge it yet until we see how it works.

I imagine that a decision to alter someone's reputation status in the case of a group that is represented in-game by more than one faction may require a level of discussion and agreement unlike anything witnessed so far here.

All official factions have this right. Each case will be decided on the merits of each case, and the Admins will deal with each case as and when they arise. Until that actually happens, maybe we could chill and go read one of Tenacity's threads about the update. Apparently, he's not happy.

Sounds good, I didn't think it would be a simply yes or no. At least you are aware of the issue.
