Rheinland Military [RM] Feedback Thread

Sorry to post this but RNC-Rheinland Tiger is not roleplaying at all,
i was hanging around Freeport 2 in Bering 5 minutes ago to resupply for my fellow Unioner Brothers (actually to log into the character to avoid deletion).

He Drops out of the Trade Lane aims and instantly kills me with 2 hits.
No talk, nothing.
I have a "Arbeiter" Bomber(VHF dunno right now), he is flying the Battleship.

Instantly docks at the base after he kills me and logs out.

I am sorry to say this but its one of the many times i have experienced such behavior with the RM towards "unlawful" factions.
I do play as RFP as well and most of the time you RM guys are totally different, but lately i noticed this more often.

It just kills the wish to play more during the little time i have to play this game at all.

Just another ~400k of equipment wasted by a dupe who goes "WOHOOO i 0wnz the battleship"...

I am aware of certain Rheinland pilots and commanders, who think they are above the mighty Kanzler himself.

I am afraid I can only hand out the orders, but every pilot outside my unit is responsible for his own actions.

This neural net section is for the complaints or positive feedback about the official [RM] unit.

The almighty Kanzler will come on this commander down. Believe me mein Herr.

Gah, i hate this RP posts outside of the appropiate threats.

RM has no control over independent players nor can they be blamed for their behaviour.
Of course there can be done some RP actions but it is useless if those indys play when no RM is online.

thank you for the fast reply and the promise that you (or some other respected Mitglied of the Rheinland Military) will look into this.

Actually it has been pretty time consuming to keep up with the distinction between official RM members and wanna-bes.

Did the RM forget the O3 system is not in their space ?

I guess the "outer-patrols" or the "diplomatics escorts" aren't that limited on number then. Did the chancellor made a visit to the bretonian queen recently ?

Did Grimly forget there is a Daumann Heavy Construction base in Omega-3? Rheinland has been trying to move into Omega-3 for decades? And BAF allowed RM to enter to hit the Corsairs as they are common enemies and BAF was busy in Leeds at the time it happened?

But considering this happened, I'm not surprised in the least that you want to continue complaining at something.

Personally, as a BAF Admiral, have no problems whatsoever with RM entering omega 3, while in RP it's difficult and should be kept to fighters and bombers as a response to cries of help.

Outside of RP, it's honestly just a bit restrictive for my tastes, everyone likes to have someone to shoot, pvp 'whoring' aside it's really what the fundamental thing this game is based around, I'm not going to be an arse to some RM's enjoyment because it might seem slightly oorp due to treaties, though hardly crazy oorp. Heck, it would even be considered insulting to BAF, and seen as a move to control omega 3, but really that's just overeacting, s'long as all is fun and fair then I'm content.

RM don't get visits from corsairs much in omega 7, so bugger it I say. Though considering the events of today, and what can only be described as a small fountain of tears, likely with a small statue of a child, with him peeing said tears all over everyone, RM won't be back in Omega 3.

As OPG and RM member and i have to say im very dissapointed.
You came after two pirates with a hole fleet consisting of an indy BS.

TODAY before that Omega 3 excursion there was a massive INDY Hessian fleet in Omega 15 - there is absolutely no roleplay reason to come to Omega 3 and attack TWO pilots of OPG - who helped to destroy that fleet on in Omega 5 / 41.

I can understand that Rheinland wants to secure the valuable resources in the Omegas but NOT with the argeement of BAF. Just the opposite: Rheinland should be unfriendly with Bretonia.

But order an attack on two lonely pirates far outside the Fatherland with a Hesian fleet on the doorstep and a little war in the back is no decent roleplay.
I was very surprised that Admiral Engles let that strange taskforce.

And as RepEx pilot i don't get the reason either. RM is now our escort wing? Cool.

Ok Grimly and Dragonlancer look, I was leading the Rheinland forces, Notice -BEFORE- I entered the Omega 3 system I asked permission to lead a battlegroup into Omega 3, I asked a fine BAF Lt. Commander CHap, I have Screenshots if you want, The Lt. COmmander allowed us to enter, since the Corsairs seem to be attacking Leeds as well. The RM, noticing Corsairs launching a two front invasion, spared some of it's ship to help out it's trading parter. thus, we entered Omega 3 and engaged, there was nothing wrong with it, and it was perfectly fine roleplay.

Also @ Dragonlancer, if you didnt notice, Malexa struck a treaty with the BAF a while back giving support for engagements to the Corsairs within the Omega Territory, the BAf kept to their side, the RM kept to ours, before entering Omega 3 we got permission from the BAF, so we entered to help them out. 2nd I do not see any reason to be unfriendly, 3rd we -did- not gank the OPG, I held back at least 4 of my pilots and the OPG did -not- have only 2 ships, so you are sadly mistaken there Dragon.

And technically, we can and will escort republican ships, as we basically work hand in hand with them, its Rheinland roleplay.

Hello RM Faction!

Going to start off with by saying your faction is great and I have had great Role-Playing experiences with the members of this faction, until this unfortunate day came along when things were not-so-pleasant.

You see this day started with my Red Hessian scouring across New Berlin trying to find some Rheinland Military Pilots to interact with, fortunately I found one sitting near the Hamburg Jump Gate.

As I proceeded with my usual anti-Rheinland-Military speech the only answer I got in return from this RM member was this: "what r u doing here?" Yes, exactly the way I wrote it there.

I got a little confused at first, but then I ignored that weird statement and moved on, trying to interact further with this member it all ended up in a fight between the two of us, well it wasn't really a fight, more like frustrating rule lawyering.

You see, I tried attacking this fella', but as soon as 5 seconds passed he started thrusting away, and never stopped. I was beginning to think he was looking for back-up but nope, he just kept on thrusting. Suddenly he turned back and fought me... for another 5 seconds and thrusted away again. So I was assuming this time he wanted to retreat, so I stated something about him retreating. The RM member replied: "Are you fleeing from me?" Now it started to become frustrating, is he trying to win me through some weird rule-application on PvP-combat?

Regardless, I tried explaining that if he kept on running away like that I assumed he must be retreating. The answer I got this time was this: "I'm still if you 10k away you are ded" (Yes he wrote dead like that.)

Now it just became frustrating so I left, and as I was going back to my base he shouted: "You are 11k away now you are ded."

... I mean come on....
