First I would like to make an apology to all of our employees for the momentary lax in control at Trenton Outpost, news of the collapsed star has set a stir among the people and some have taken to rioting. Do know that at this time the security division is doing everything that they can to suppress the chaos; the majority of the station is once again under control.
Due to the massive amounts of radiation, I have made an executive order, that all Universal Shipping transports are to remain within the station at all times, and that all transport not within the station are to seek shelter and remain at that location until given further notice.
Depending on duration of the dangerous levels of radiation the current order may be held indefinably. I apologize for the lack of work and USI will do everything to get you back on your feet as soon as possible.

Greetings, employees. If any of you have checked the news lately , some neutron star down in the omegas has started spewing radiation all over the place, the dangerous sort of radiation, the one that melts you in place and damages your ship. Needless to say, you'd best not go outside for the time being. We wouldn't want our precious "scrap" to melt inside the cargo hold, now would we? All contracts are on hold until further notice.
Communications are still a little limited, a lot of data is on the risk of being deleted... I hope that you are all are getting this message. If you were outside when the radiation storm started, I'd advise getting a check up at the medical bay.
PS: If the closest station to dive in was Invergordon , stop by the Purple Mist. It's better than sitting on your arses doing nothing , isn't it?
Fujiwara Michiyo was sparring in the gym when the alert came. All ships were supposed to be grounded, but a signal had been detected from behind planet New Tokyo.
"Konbanwa, Michiyo-chan!" One of the flight officers, Miko Takawashi, ran up and handed her an orders packet. "This arrived for you."
"Katajikenai, Takawashi-san, now let me see what it is to do." Fujiwara opened the packet and pulled out the paper file. "Ah, it seems that a pilot is stranded by the radiation. I am to go retrieve this 'Salem Jansen'."
"Good luck, then, and return safely. We will keep the hangar open for your return." Miko turned and headed back to the control room, while Fujiwara headed for her Chimaera.

I Didn't make it(Error=102) to port, at first the crew and I barely felt anything behind !!X5full=?!!the thick hull of my sarissa class battleship. Then the hell/20%/broke loose, at first the radar started cheating on us, then the autopilot systems.
Luckyli we have supplies of both carda(9x4f?=7!)mine and food enough to last a good 40 days without rationing. (Error=102)My biggest worry tho is the radiation. 12 of my men is sick, tho we have medicine its not a good solution.

Well it seems my Bastet is not going anywhere, the damn storm almost took me out on a patrol earlier, but i managed to make it back to the Isis. Seeing as how all order vessels are on lockdown, its time to go meet that lovely barmaid *walks to bar*

"Not much, only that it's grounded most every ship in Sirius at the moment. The Audacity can stand up to the storm, but we're not going to be able to move for a while without a risk of damaging the ship. We have enough food and supplies to last us a few years if it ever gets that bad, so we should be a-ok."

The bridge was a very quiet, desolate place. All non-critical systems have been powered down, with radiation shielding on maximum. The view from the bridge was dark, with all but a handful of computers shut down completely, and the faint glow of emergency lighting marking the doors. The area was dead quiet, with the only person onboard being a junior officer sitting in the cozy captain's chair, watching over a handful of still-powered screens showing the status of the ship's critical systems and shielding.
The onboard neurocyte node was similarly powered down. A faint humming could be heard from it if you listened closely, as it was running on minimal power.
Outside of the ship, an ionic storm rages. The liner's lack of an energy signature combined with the ionic storm made the Tetshuo practically invisible to scanner technology.
Four ships sat ina secluded corner of New York, Inside a huge asteriod that had been blown a nice sized hole.

Jack Norris retched again. He had only barely skittered into the Prison Station Mitchell. He was caught for a whole minute in the radiation storm. He had been transported to the medical bay, where the doctors were busy purging his system of the deadly radiation.
