I've found Freelancer to have gotten relatively boring as of late. There's never any cool events on when I'm around, I miss all the fun ones (BAF/KNF Mk I for example), and I'm pretty much flat broke. Stuff (read: faction approval for the CoC) isn't progressing as I had hoped it would (hint hint, admins) as well.

So I'm in a bit of a bind. Currently all I do is run through New York for a few minutes on my [LN], pirate NPCs, trade, and screw around in Conn. You know why?

Cause I have nothing else to do.

Please, for the love of all that is good and holy, tell me, what can I do? I love Disco and I'm never going to give it up as long as it's alive. I need something to do.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.

Note to self: convince Cannon to make "popcorn" something I can have in my cargo hold.

I talk at everything that moves (and isn't an NPC) and sometimes they talk back, leading to lovely interactions that I wasn't expecting. They don't always talk back, but I don't let that rattle me. Hell, if I had a good time getting ganked by silent cattlebruisers in 4.84, what's a few less than talkative guys now. And when you do catch someone- it's great. What's there to lose? Well, sometimes it means you can get caught up in Honshu for an hour during a fifteen minute leg of your trade run (and the only leg that has contraband on it >.>) but it was fun, and that's the point.

Find fun, enjoy fun.

Other than that, ummm, you could always try Gallia, Not that it is super active, but there is a lot of interesting plot to work from.
