' Wrote:Mal, you've always remained willfully ignorant..

Just because pirates can't pirate in capships, doesn't mean they can't use them. This accusation and threats are getting quite old, and even more pathetic.

First of all, Dab, after reading your contributions on the boards today, I'm really sorry you seem to have gotten rat turds instead of raisins in your bran flakes today.. does make for a sour face, eh?

Second, let's make this clear: I don't "hate" you. I find you quite amusing, in fact. And besides, where else would I go for my daily dose of "Isness".

Now, thirdly. Your first statement, concerning my ignorance, could be considered an insult/flame/whatever. I have figured out that it's usually best to simply ignore these petulant "asides", especially on those "rat turd" days, and I will continue to do so. Ooooh... must.. resist.. can't... have... any... fun... with.. favorite... son!

Ah, what the hey: Better to be willfully ignorant than willfully arrogant. (The Devil made me type that...)

Now.. as to accusations and threats. Go back and try, just try reading, my post. Then, please if you will young sir. point out the accusation and/or threat contained therein. I'm having a heck of a time determining what you're referring to. (If you're talking about the "veiled threats" comment, those were made by the BDR Captain, not yours truly)

Please?
Thank you.

All for now,
Blissfully ignorant,
Mal

Well, it kinda seems interesting, Dab, for a pirate to own and operate a capital ship if it can't be used to pirate...

I mean, the temptation is definitely there, no? Anywho!

We'll see what happens. Let's not stray to far from the good ol' original topic.

That looks like a fun ship design... I just don't want to see it in space - it looks like it would make me very, very injured!

On a happier note, I fared against Nightfall today in my first PvP encounter in a VHF. Yippy! Still, he won, and got my Nomad weapons... but this isn't the main topic!

I hope someone completes it, and as for the faction doohickey, well, I'd PM Igiss. He has the stuff to do it, the knowledge, and he could impart it on you.

It'll be a LOT of work, if what I read is correct. Still, good luck!

Warmly,
Harley

Or of course ... Arrogance is next to ignorance, or some such witty ditty.
Pirates with capships, especially military ones. Where DID they get that ? Walked in and had the salesman twist
their arm into signing on the dotted line for the credit agreement. Blood Dragons welcome here ...
Mmm we shall see, I expect, in the very near future ... Just what nefarious puposes it will be put to.

How about the oone where you threatened that they were breaking rules and you'd report it?

Just so you know, pirates in a BS isn't against rules, might be why Outcasts have one. *Gasp*

You should know, pirates often have to battle militaries, more often than traders and their escorts. Seems to be plenty to do for a pirate capship in keeping the military in check.

I'm not in BDR, so I don't know exactly what they plan to be their RP about it, but I find it very likely that Blood Dragons could salvage a few Kusari Battleship wrecks from Tau-31 with the war there, and piece it all together into a reconstructed battleship. Just think, is there enough for someone to make a Rheinland Battleship out of the Sigma-13 debris field? Yes, now multiply the wrecks by 4 and you'd have the current number that would be in Tau-31.

Wait, pirates back the military?

Last time I checked, the US doesn't do that... or am I wrong?

*Prepares for a joke about the current administration being pirates*

Dab the first 'I' is showing there a little. Outcasts actually have their own generic battleship ... Its called an
'Outcast Dreadnaught' ... You may have noticed it in your travels. The Corsairs have an Osiris I believe.
Never seen a 'Blood Dragon Yamoto', or some such though.
And I'm sure they appreciate you writing their 'we stole it' style of roleplay story for them ...

Well, Dab isn't really saying that they stole it, but that they reconstructed it.

The outer chassis could be remade, but the interior? That leather wouldn't fair in the cold vacuum of space! It'll be all...

Crinkly...

Ewwwwwwww.

I won't attend THOSE cocktail parties.

Anywho, back to the original topic friends! Must I go make another flood thread?

Don't push me! I'll do it! I'm ca-ra-zy!

Not to mention, where would they get the training to use a battleship? It takes a massive amount of people to operate a BS, and the training isn't similar at all to that of fighter piloting.

In SW, they have space-leather... who knows? although there might be a little blood on it, those BAF boys are vicious

Maybe they stole the whole BS and hold the crew hostage. Informed them there was a putsch and they are restoring peace in Kusari by fighting their naval forces.

Don't see anywhere were I said Outcasts don't have their own.. In fact I believe if you look, I said they did have their own. Perhaps you'd better just cut the veiled insults and flames. I'm getting really sick of it, nor have you a right to flame me for how I word my sentences.
