"Not bad, Not bad at all." Katie said slowly, almost wistfully. Even better now I've met someone like this. Katie thought to herself, as she leaned over a bit onto the counter, standing in a more casual pose.
"Things could be certainly be better, Miss Katie. Please do sit down", Said the Young Commander. His eyes finally moved from his glass of beer to Katie. He studied her covertly, his eyes hidden by his long mop of hair.
"The drink. It's cheap, and it keeps coming..." Katie laughed a little, and then got back to talking with Robert.
"What about you?" Katie said, as she slipped her elbows a little bit, so that her head was resting closer to the table.
"Well I.." Katie suddenly clammed up, her mind went blank, and she couldn't think of anything to say.
"I'm, well... Uhhm.." Katie blushed a deep shade of scarlet, and stared into her drink, tapping her fingers.
Robert smiled as the girl blushed and looked away.
