X3: Renunion

So I bought the X3 Gold Edition a week or so ago.
Only installed it today and...
Well, I got addicted to X2, so I expect to be hooked on this for a few weeks ;D
Haven't installed the expansions and shiz yet, but damn.
Feels like Eve in some parts ;D
Hell hard to get back into the generic Space Sim control scheme though.


Anyway, just thought I'd see what you guys' opinions of it were.

But it auto adjusted to max graphics XD

I haven't played it, but from it looks like, it was basically Disco FL, but with good AI, and a good storyline (thank you wikipedia), and you have the option to build factories and transports goods from them trade mine yada yada yada blah bla BLAHJ

yeah.

Still, I wanna play it. Oh, and its got realistic physics too I think, like Freespace.

Oh the lack of tutorial is hell, beleive me.
Spent ages trying to work out the Go button. XD
Then I read teh manual like a n00b.

But it's so much more complicated than FL. Just. WOW.
Fleet control, dynamic economies, factory building like Ivan mentions.

Everything I ever wanted ;D

I have both X3 Reunion and X3 Terran Conflict and i love them both. The biggest kick in the face about the games is the lack of multiplayer, or even co-op. And the developers have no intentions of ever adding MP of any kind to the game.

Yeah, that is a bit poo.

But with the amount of things you can do SP, it's not too bad.

Egosoft community's pretty good too, even though I stopped going there XD
