Guildmasters of the Bounty Hunters Guild.

It seems the time has come to renegotiate our equipment usage agreement.

For your information, I refer you to our previous negotiations on this issue,

http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...c=45581&hl=

These negotiations laid out the terms of our existing agreement, which is defined here (Post 14):

http://discoverygc.com/forums/index.php?sh...31881&st=10

I propose the following new terms:

-We have paid 75 Million for the right to use Bounty Hunter Class 9 Fighter weapons. We consider this right bought and paid for, and would ask that that right be maintained.

-We will not invoice any kills, nor any one-time lump sum fee for "Client" status. BHG will no longer be considered a Client of MM, but rather an informal Ally, especially in the Omicrons, against our common foes; the Corsairs and Order. We will provide combat assistance as required in good faith, in the expectation that that assistance would be returned when we are hard pressed.

-We will liquidate our remaining Bounty Hunter Gunships, and Orcas, except one Gunship (see below). I am only personally aware of 2 Orca's in our fleet, both of which are derelict from lack of spare parts and trained Bounty Hunter mechanics. One Bounty Hunter Gunship remains in the service of Consul Kandosii, but has gone missing with him (//He's gone from Disco).

-Consul Dha Pirunha's Bounty Hunter Gunship, the Ord'inii, has served us for a long time, and he is quite attached to it, and quite profitable in it, I might add. We ask he retain his ship.

-Having liquidated almost our entire (limited) holding of Gunboat/Gunship class ships, we request continued access to BHG fighter's and bombers, subject to the following limitation, continued from the previous contract. (Which has been faithfully obeyed, I might add.)

Quote:The Mandalorian Mercenaries shall never take any leased Guild vessel into a combat situation against any of the House Militaries or Police Forces.

But we ask this former restriction be waived:

Quote:..a limited number of Manta, Hammerhead and AP12400 Bomber vessels for their use. You may have in your ship roster a maximum of six of these ship lines at any one time

We primarily fly Rocs and Eagles. That will not change. Few of our men prefer BHG ships, but I would like to provide unfettered access to those that do.

Please advise if these terms are acceptable at your earliest convenience. I will revise our contract documents.

The Bounty Hunter's Guild, the Mandalore supposed, likely had quite the internal bureaucracy mechanism.

An ancient quote from Bartlett's Reader came to mind, and he smiled remembering it:

"If there is a way to delay an important decision, the typical bureaucrat, public or private, will find it."

Graves wiped the drool from the side of his mouth and sat up. He had dozed off.

Paperwork, he thought to himself, bloody paperwork. Give me a war-zone any day. Paperwork is worse.

He read over the contract proposal.

Better get this finalised.

The Guild's older branches could be notoriously jealous of its tools. But the Mandalorians were worthy allies, and seeing as the Kusari regime had turned the clock back it wouldn't hurt to give the Bretonians just the right amount of support. And besides, the Mandalorians and Bretonians shared Graves' belief that the Cretans were better off dead.

He hit a switch and conferenced the Council members.

"Gentlemen, we have a proposal to discuss."

Following discussions with the Council, we propose the following:

Terms
-Mandalorians shall maintain the right to use Bounty Hunter Class 9 Fighter weapons.
-The relationship between the Mandalorians and the Guild shall be deemed "Informal Ally". Each side will provide combat assistance as required in the expectation that that assistance would be returned.
-The Mandalorians will liquidate remaining Bounty Hunter Gunships, and Orcas by selling them back to the Guild at a discount to be determined by independent arbitrators.
-Consul Dha Pirunha may retain the Ord'inii.
-Consul Dha Pirunha shall receive six BHG turrets for use on the Ord'inii only. The Guild will arrange for these to be delivered to the Consul within two weeks of this agreement.
-The Mandalorians shall enjoy access to BHG fighter's and bombers.
-For the purposes of ship maintenance, the Mandalorians shall enjoy docking rights at Sheffield Station only

Restrictions
The Mandalorian Mercenaries shall never take any leased Guild vessel into a combat situation against any of the House Militaries, Police Forces or Lawful Corporations.

Duration
No date set for expiry of contract. However each side reserves the right to renegotiate any or all of the terms of this agreement should circumstances arise.

Sir.

This is perfectly acceptable.

My thanks.
