Threads regulary pop up by diffrent people about same subject recently, becouse there is a problem which is not solved, and diffrent peeps get pissed by it. People like you do not help to solve it either. So yeah, really, +1 from the core.

:/ same subject pops up because the subject happens to be a rather big problem with how the game operates. Since the closest thing many are doing to fixing the problem is denying it without any constructive input, threads like these will continue to pop up until the problem is properly addressed or until the problem is properly addressed.

Cap ships take part in friendly fights too . I dont want to go through all this everytime I die.

Cap ships are not meant to be flown like fighters or bombers - but it's how the aggregate masses of independent capital ship fliers are using them.

Cap ships are primarily for RP, something that requires more than one person to pull off. This requires a mechanic to force people to cooperate in order to properly employ a cap ship.

Cap ships need to be kept in check in some way other than to make them next to useless in combat. This requires balances that makes the cap ship harder to maintain so that difficulty of use, not the crappiness, discourages lolcaps.

Bottom line: there is a serious problem with the way cap ships are being handled right now. Everyone knows it, and people are trying to fix it. A simple 'lol no.' does not fix things, it just wastes that much more space on the server and does nothing else.

Implementing Connecticut into the system is a matter of coding. Also, the suggestions are all bits and pieces, pick what you like and expand - yeah, the suggestion involving repair fees seems a tad excessive in the light of friendly dueling - perhaps deaths in guard systems should be exempt, or the system with repair should not be implemented at all?

The concept with fuel and ammo seems to show some promise though.

Yeah, but most cap ships are within fairly close range of their Guard Systems. In fact, if a cap ship is far away from its Guard System, it's doing it wrong.

Why?
Because they are more dangerous to 90% of the server than any bloody battleship could be.
That is a simple fact that cannot be denied. Based solely on logic and well, our good ol stats.

Just quit with the cap bashing please, it's like a bloody disease around here.

Oh I am sorry I didnt read the guard system part. But guard systems are not supposed to be the practice grounds for Battleships.
