this made me laugh a little to be honest ._.
anyway, honestly, i have no problem with you playin trent, but as far as scripting and lines go, you have to do it in a more beleivabe manner O.o

read some of your rp letters with the blood dragons,, and a few of them wernt convincing at points that you know your character well enough. put more time into what you want to say and dont restate yourself too much, dont restate old details too much, dont invent new ones after fact.. then it should be fine. only other thing i can add,

is that trent seemed to take the role of the Go to guy,m he had alot of confidence, spoke with confidence, was quick witted and had cheesy dialogue (the kind we all loved from that area of entertainment)
follow that and it'll be perfect:D
anyway, thats it for constructive criticism. only other thing i can suggest, is that you make an alt, get a pirate train, and follow Edison_Trent around with it till he makes another character D:

This is why I need people to post in my Feedback Thread in my sig, so I can improve! I shall attempt to improve my methods of roleplaying Trent.

I've met you only twice, but you're doing a pretty good job at roleplaying Trent I think. As long as you enjoy RPing him, keep it up:).

I've always thought Trent was asexual. Every time someone makes a sexual remark he dismisses it.

Just one of the examples. You dont reality notice it at first, but he never checks someone out and is very serious about any sexual commentary. Just something I noticed.

You should take a look at the script on the bonus DVD some day. There were a lot of scenes planned involving Trent's relationship to Juni, but due to some reason, most of them got cut.

I think it's cool that you're continuing Trent's life as he lives on and on but I dunno... I voted No because he's a delicate character. I've never met you in-game before, I'm sure you do a good job at role playing him but again, Freelancer's storyline was finished too abruptly, they were going to make an expansion pack for Freelancer but never did. I'm glad they didn't and glad they were going to, sadly they didn't.

I say I'm glad they didn't because it leaves you to wonder what happened after the Nomad War, however, I think I would've enjoyed playing it from there some more, unfortunately that never happened.

So I chose No, not to be mean but because he shouldn't be tampered with. Then again Discovery FL is a mod and has already tampered the storyline for a path of it's own so it may not matter because of that.

Well, looks like you are playing him well, but i have always hated to see in such situations people playing as already existing characters. In that case i would think prohibiting names like Trent, Orillion, Juni, Walker and so on would be good, but it's not like this is going to happen. Which is bad i'd say.
