blocking and hardpoints on, make it the propor size and ready the correct files for submission ECT.

I fail to see Schutzstaffel outside my door (though I am playing Pokemon SS right now). Whoever is doing this "recognizing" needs to read a history book. Or visit a country other than the United States. Let's try Haiti, perhaps? Maybe China? Last time I was in China I got an annoying vendor to leave me alone by walking past a guard, who un-holstered his sub-machine gun. Can't say I've seen guards toting SMGs in shopping malls in the United States, much less aiming them at civilians. Even comparatively modern and "free" countries like Australia have locks on internet access. I have yet to see a "this site is not available to your country".

Even if on paper they were an army, the SS also served as political police and were largely responsible for what made Nazi Germany a "brutal police state". The fact that "that comparison won't fly" is exactly my point- within the United States, there is no equivalent to any type of military police that murders civilians and commits atrocities upon their own people.
On a note related to the actual models, that transport seriously looks like a 3 volt battery. While I almost want to use it to charge my lazorz, I can't say it looks very "Freelancer-ish". It's not just too smooth, but too slick. Jinx's prototype advanced LABC concept thingy looked very advanced and smooth, but it did not look slick- and some of it was harsh and crisp like most FL stuff is.

The thing I here most is that every new thing made has to look like a crappy old microsoft ship.
This is silly, you have to give room for new and better stuff. It seems that most just want to pidgen-hole
every model that dont fit the vision of what they like, even though they have never made a model. Listen closley now: The LH Gun Boat was accepted "admins loved it just fine" and now I am making
the rest of the ship line by request from many people. So texture opinions dont matter cuz it must be the
same skins as the GB so the line looks the same. I do admit that it is a wee bit too bizy and thats probly what makes it look like a battery.
ive been ignoring your posts for a while now, but damn, you know how to just piss people off.
your one gunship against the LF and bomber, which are the same design, and the HF, which is designed differently, but fits with the whole "flat" design of the fighters/bombers hmm. what outweighs the other... tough choice.
The ships that were modelled to keep the vanilla feel are actually of rather high quality, they fit where they are placed, and dont seem alien like your transport/gunship's textures are. if you actually took the time to use the vanilla textures for your models, the chance of you getting so much more positive feed back will actually be high.
taking into consideration that you come randomly and try to impose your models on the community, and vanish again, but cant be arsed to learn how to finish off the models before submitting them is another pisstake, not to mention that you're exceedingly ignorant of everything else thats going on here, you wonder why people dont take you seriously? uptil now even i was guilty of that, but ive spent the last day or so learning how to do most of the stuff on my own, so if i, who is retardely bad with numbers, can do it, so can you tbh.
and the matter about "loads of people liking your ships", check every other ship submission. if you cant find more than 70% of the posts with the general message of "ZOMG, YOUR SHIP IS AWESOME, I WANNA SEE IT TEXTURED, PUT IT IN GAME NOW", then you're reading the threads wrong. you cant go by those posts to judge what is right or wrong.
if i was to make a box, slap on some wings and a cylinder of an engine, give it another box for a cockpit, and give it hardpoints, and said "hey, there is the new rheinland freighter", i wouldnt be surprised if people wanna see THAT ingame as well.
also, your view on life != everyone's view on life, so your arguement isnt valid. the gunboat was accepted back when there werent enough modellers/texturers, and the submission terms were much more exeedingly lax, so again, that arguement isnt valid anymore.

or you could work with how the LF/bomber and HF are modelled, and base your models + texture jobs around THAT, its not that hard. i even wrote a tutorial for texturing with vanilla files if you dont know who to do it, though id expect you'd already know how to do it, but are just adamant on including your own textures.
if you arent as self centered and ignorant, you'd actually see im trying to be as polite about it, and actually am offering you some constructive criticism, but theres currently a betting pool on skype saying you wont see the point of my post. im not meaning to be a dick, you're just bringing it out of me. :mellow:

regarding the model itself:
the model looks like a battery, much like other people have said. i don't like how the corners of the mesh are exceedingly rounded off, and i definitely do not like the textures used. if you were to make the corners less smooth, and actually used vanilla textures (borderworlds in this case), you'd actually have a mesh thats 100x better than the current one you've submitted.
your textures, while they may be grand in other games etc, do NOT fit into freelancer in general. ive uploaded all the vanilla + some other textures in the tut i wrote, so you can always grab them from there.
