Use one of the two docking lights. They will (yeah I know... it surprised me too) only start to glow as you hit the docking button.

It would be helpful to get a list of what numbers correspond to what light on each ship, though. Maybe something like that could go up on the wiki? I hate having to change a light, log back in, undock, see that it's in the wrong place, and have to do it again...

Unfortunately, the only other way is for somebody to make a mod that allows the user to select a ship at the start, which will of course come already with its standard loadout. Now, the problem with this is that a lot of ships don't actually have a loadout because there are no NPCs that use them. The only form of loadout they will have would in fact be a package. So, not only does it involve configuring the multi-list for FLMM, it also needs a ridiculous amount of loading-out to be done. Good luck finding somebody who can be bothered doing it (I'd consider it, but what I know of modding FL is more theoretical as I have very little practical experience, thus I'd spend more time making cock-ups than progress).

Again, it's the time and effort that's the problem. Unless somebody actually has a list, they'd have to be tested individually. Some ships may also be somewhat irregular, it depends on the model I think. An artist that knows what they're doing though won't just put the numbers in random places, they'd coordinate it. But even then it won't be obvious on all ships (take an elongated ship for example...will the running lights go 1-2 from left to right, or 1-10 along one side and 11-20 along the other?).

Cant pimpship on Monterrey Base (Shipyard...), or Leniex (Also Shipyard)... what to do when your shipyard doesnt have "Shipyard" in its name, but -is- a shipyard?

I just checked all three (there are only three, right?) Junker bases in Gallia. None of the ship dealers offered to pimp my ship. So... Gallia's completely left out at the moment.

Just download HardCMP, load up the model from the game files, and look at the hardpoint arrangement in there. That's how I do it.

@Zukeenee: You could try a shipyard outside of Gallia, just go when noones lookin. But uh yea...

PimpMyShip Wishlist:
1) Pimpage Allowed on AI Drone (Is it too much to ask my green lights be turned to red?)
2) Various Shipyards without "Shipyard" in their name added to list of bases the command is allowed on.
---This includes: Monterrey / Leniex, Dijon Station (Gallic Royal Shipyard), and Chalons-en-Champagne Station (Council Shipyard). Yes, Gallia -does- actually have its own shipyards. Or atleast, they are designed as if they were shipyards.
3) Black lights

Funny enough, the server didn't go down anywhere near that time. There was at least a ten minute window before the incident and after where the server was up, it just randomly booted me.

Edit: Either that or everyone in that Skype call was screwing with me -.-
