[COMMENCEZ LE PLAYBACK] This is Bruce Montague, Duke of Burgundy, submitting an action report for the 3rd of November, 733 A.G.S. Roughly two hours ago, I received a call to action from several soldiers in the field. The Redemption class Council Battleship "Fleur de Rose" had been spotted once again, this time behind Nevers. I quickly made for my bomber and headed toward the scene. Unfortunately, I was too late to prevent one of our brave soldiers, Stellar Meffre, from losing her ship to the battleship and its escort gunboat ("Fleur de Lys") and another strange fighter ("Kraken"). However, I did recover her escape pod; she is alive and fully ready to continue serving the Crown. Shortly thereafter, I joined up with our attack wing, consisting of Pascal Devereux and Luc Shote (the former is one of ours, the latter is from another detachment). We took advantage of the Fleur de Rose's apparent weapons malfunctions (I refuse to believe that even Council shoots that badly and that sporadically) and peppered the ship with supernovas from range. Along the way, Luc Shote saw an opportunity to rid us of the fighter "Kraken" and exacted the King's justice in one fell swoop. However, the Fleur de Rose managed to take advantage of this and engage it's cruise engines, headed straight for what I believe to be Macon Base. Having mostly crippled the ship already, we were able to catch up outside a group of weapons platforms and finish the job. I delivered the last shots personally; it will take quite some time for Council to replace the flaming wreck we left outside of their old headquarters.

During my last patrol I came across a Sirian Vessel which appeared to be supplying known enemies of the Crown. Upon entering sensor range, the ship fled toward the Dauphine jumphole. During the pursuit I opened communication with the ship, which was indentified as Nivelle Keizo.

During this exhange another ship, an employee of EFL spoke no less then treason. Unfortunately I was unable to catch either ship, my fuel situation had become dire and I was forced to turn back to the Beuvray.
Analysis of my scanner indicated another contact, though the target was out of visual range.
Today I made contact with a Sirian Explorer Vessel designated 'Flinders'. After tracking the transmission to its source, I was able to visually comfirm the target. The design of the ship indicted that it originated from the 'Kusari', though I was not able to ascertain the origins of the crew or its captain. After briefly communicating with we the captain implied His Majesty's Navy was 'yellowbellied', and I proceeded to engage the target, inflicting significant damage. The ship began to flee after I had gained the advantage, his cowardice displayed for all to see.
As I watched the ship from a distance I began noticed erratic behavior in its flight path. Perhaps due to damage from the fight, though I do not wish to speculate. Shortly after it appears that the ship crashed into the Le Creusot. When I arrived at the planet I could find no evidence of wreckage, leading me to believe the ship may still be at large in Gallia.
What did Captain mean by 'Yellowbellied'? I'm lead to believe it is some form of insult.
Later in my patrol I encountered a Council transport, Commercant, and its escort, Pierre Reims, pass relatively close to the Beuvray. I engaged the tradelane to intercept the transport, but without any means to stop it progress, I only able to scan the contents of transport.
The Council are begging for scraps from the Sirian's tables. Our pressure is indeed paying off, but it is troubling to think of what else they may bring into Gallia if we dont stop shipments like this.

due to the bravery of Margrave Mathieu Archambault as well as my piloting skills, another Sirian intrusion attempt has been defeated. Their spy, acting under the name "Vivat", somehow got into possession of a Perilous-class Royal Navy warship. His ship was destroyed and he along with his crew most likely killed, but I am very displeased that this did not happen before he obtained said Gunboat. All military ports and shipyards are hereby instructed to review and, if necessary, reinforce station security. Failure to comply will be met with harsh administrative punishment

I noticed an unusual amount of activity in Dauphaine so moved to investigate. Once I arrived, the ships scattered to neighbouring systems. Howvere I caught an " Interspace Commerce" vessel trying to escape, I chased him back into sirrian territory.
By now GRN backup had arrived in Burgandy. We engaged a "Freelancer" who has also strayed in from Sirrus. He ran, and ran and ran and ran. Eventually the "Freelancer" docked with the Junker base and refused to come out. We sent in the marines to finish him off.
We assumed normal patrol duties, only encountering a brigand who also ran back into his base.

I hereby log this as Activity Report 1 of my service in the Gallic Royal Navy.
Today I started my patrol through Burgundy which was quiet besides one troubling encounter. I continued on to the Dauphine Jump Gate when I see the Council Cruiser "Liberte" attacking the trade lanes and weapons platforms around the Dauphine Jump Gate. Since I was both outmanned and outgunned and any chance of assistance was too far out, I stayed beyond weapons range and analyzed the ship's composition and exhaust signature, so that later he could be tracked without need for visual or short range scans.
After I had left Burgundy and the escaping Council Cruiser, I procceeded to Briancon Station in Dauphine and to my earnest surprise my scopes pick up a Zoner Guard in a whale-like ship design. Scopes identified its designation as "Cyterion" and it seemed to be in quite the hurry. Unfortunately after some pursuit, the whale entered the treacherous fields that house the Council and Maquis, alone and uncertain I called for support and was joined by the Grand Marshall. We procceeded together into the fields but the Zoner Whale suddenly vanished from our scopes. Either he docked or jumped were not sure.
Regardless I will a little quicker on the trigger when dealing with this Zoner in the future.
Continuing my patrol, I procceded back to Burgundy where I linked up with Police Officer Leon Denard. We procceded on towards the Champagne JG to finish my rounds and we came across a transmission over system comms. It turned out the comms signiture was of Le Council. And registered under one known as Lt. Boris Weber, after a few arrogant emissions on his part, Leon Denard and myself picked up his trail enroute to Dijon Station. We procceeded to the coordinates where he was waiting for us. We both faced each other silently for a moment...then engaged. While I would like to take credit for the events following, let it be noted that Weber's ship experianced a tragic propulsion malfunction which led to him becoming a defenseless target to my guns. There is little honour is shooting a fish in a barrel but this fish most assuredly needed to be put down.

After my encounter with Le Council, I procceeded with Mr Denard to the Champagne Jump Gate without incident. We then procceeded back to Battleship Beuvray, where I gave Mr Denard a respectful au revoir and docked.
as my patrol started in dauphine, I encountered a Maquis tagged Basilisk,
named Anar'chy, our skirmish didn't ended well for him, he was blasted to dust,
and a friend of him in a sirrian class fighter, managed to do a great damage to me
but he fled more damaged then moi,
as I restocked and lunched aboard the mighty Embrun, I went to patrol further
there I encountered a Basilisk class ship from the le Counceil,
our skirmish took ages, however luck was on my sight and I managed to let him use his pod,
it got away unfortunately, but heavily damaged i tried to go to Embrun but a deviousle Counceil HF
blocked my path, and managed to criple my already cripled ship even more,

This is Margrave Blaise Mersenne, submitting an action report for the 10th of Janvier, 734 A.G.S.
I had started my patrol out of Dijon Station with plans to fly through Dauphine and Lorraine, before returning back. Flight logs indicated that monsieur Archambault also departed earlier, and I transmitted a request for a secure frequency. His acknowledgment came shortly, with a short greeting and a dire message: on his way through Dauphine, monsieur Archambault was set upon by a pair of Council pilots. I wasted no time in transiting to Dauphine to assist monsieur Archambault.
After arriving in Dauphine, my sensors immediately detected monsieur Archambault's location 18 klicks south-southwest from the jump gate. As I drew closer my Serval picked up the IFF of one Council pilot, the other had left between the time I made contact with monsieur Archambault and my arrival into Dauphine. Monsieur Archambault's Lynx had sustained damage and though I insisted on providing aid, he wished to challenge the Council pilot alone. Honoring his desire, I maintained a distance of 2.5 klicks from the pilots and let the fight commence. Monsieur Archambault held his ground fast, but the damage his fighter had already sustained prevented him from operating at his full capacity; he was forced to withdraw from the fight. I stepped up next to accept the Council's challenge for single combat, sharing half of my regenerative supplies with the pilot in respect to codes of conduct. Without wasting much time thereafter, the battle commenced; within roughly one minute, the Council pilot was subdued.
With business in Dauphine concluded, I returned to Burgundy and plotted a course to Dijon Station. No more than five minutes into my flight, another Council pilot had stated his presence in the system; this pilot was most likely the associate of the other one. Wishing to see this nonsense end, I moved beyond the transit lanes and transmitted my position. The Council pilot arrived shortly, and little dialogue was wasted before the fighting commenced. This one lasted two minutes longer and, with a well-timed disruptor round, the Council pilot was hoisted with his own petard.
After confirming the all-clear with the inter-system sensor network, I returned to Dijon Station and compiled this report.

Analysis: There is nothing of tactical significance identified from this encounter.
Conclusion: After completing this flight, it is imperative that His Majesty's Royal Navy increase patrol frequencies throughout His Territories. Unhindered Council flights may give rise to more serious issues in the long-term, risks that cannot be allowed to occur.

This begins Activity Report 2 of my service to the crown.
My rounds began at Battleship Carcassonne in Languedoc where I kept an eye out for any suspicious going ons near the Dauphine Jump gate. Suffice it to say there were none, besides the random brigand and Maquis hit and run attacks.
I then continued to the Dauphine system and encountered a Freelancer named "Calyso" near Gap Station. This Freelancer was hauling Military Vehicles in the direction of Languedoc, so I stopped him for an inspection as to acertain his intentions. After scanning his vessel, I had learned that the ship he was flying was of Council design and origin. The suspicion started seeping in at this point. Under the circumstances and the evidence at hand I ordered Calyso to dock immediately and relinquish his cargo. I also ordered him to change his ship if he wanted to continue business in Royal space without incident. Calyso complied and docked at Gap Station where the port authorities took over. I then proceeded with my rounds.
Whilst still in Dauphine my long range scanners picked up a strange reading not far from Briancon Station.
After a closer look with short range scanners, a ship in transit was discovered. This ship was definately Sirian, tagged as Deep Space Engineering and sporting an ID that gave rights to a body known as "Interspace Commerce". I hailed the ship known as Falkenir and demanded that he allow me to escort him out of Royal Space. Falkenir complied and I made sure he left with a stern warning. The type of warning that makes one believe his life is in jeopardy.
After the encounter with the Sirian I continued with my rounds, nothing significant to report occured. I then docked with Battleship Beuvray in Burgundy, hence concluding my Patrol.

A relatively short report this time.
During guard duty at Battleship Carcassonne, a Junker trader "Esmereda" came on long range scanners closing fast. He was coming in from Council space through the trade lanes. Before he got to the Jump gate I stopped him and scanned his cargo and asked his intentions. He was taking council goods and some Sirian commodities into our space. Since I had no proof of foul play I merely told him to turn back and he complied. Patrol duty was rather routine. Some ship inspections with next to no hostile opposition. Nothing else to report.
