First sweep of the Liberty Systems turned up nothing of importance. Seems to be a lot of new traffic in the area. Request intel on a group called "wolfpack." The HF are quiet and not straying. Also training went well today. Need to work on my blind-side targeting. Adamson out.

I bleed for the SA today. The patrol run started peacefully enough until AdmSirRed came into my scanners. He made threats to venture into Virginia. Brown responded and we stationed in Virginia to wait for the hostile to come in range. However Lt. Brown's internal equipment on his fighter went out of control, leaving me to handle the situation on my own. The LNS-Corregidor was ready for battle, its opponent however was a massive Outcast Dreadnought. I did what i could with what I had, using the Petersburg and asteroids as cover and keeping out of the dreadnought's line of fire. Finally the inevitable happened, the dreadnought's flak turrets knocked out all my guns, the truster, and even the shield was not regenerating anymore. I was left with 2 missile turrets and the forward gun. Just as i was bracing for total destruction and an honorable death, the pirate turned away and dashed to the jump hole. I pursued since the damage was done and the ship was past the point of no return. The pirate finally turned and opened fire on my ship. I must have blacked out since I found myself on the Petersburg's sick bay. The Corregidor lay in shambles all over the repair bay. So know my body aches and so does my pocket since HQ didn't reimburse the repair charges on it. The Petersburg cameras got pictures of the encounter and some nut took a picture of the repair bill too... thank heavens no other pilots were harmed.
Ok this is a really bad day for the SA forces. I had just finished paying off the repairs on the Corregidor and resumed patrolling Texas. After a few hours ~Tauri~Seras decided to visit and being on duty, I responded. I warned all civilians in the system to go to NY where it was safe, I was right to do so. The pirate was no longer flying a Huntress Cruiser but now an Osiris Battleship. I threw the Corregidor right in there and did the best I could. But as fate would have it, I could not even touch his hull, hence death touched my ship and BOOM. In my persistence to defend Liberty, I went against him a second time. And once again, met the same results. A passing police patrol took recon photos.
ooc: Greg, you broke server rules doing that, mate. You can only die once in a PvP, otherwise it's a rule break.

My health certainly is good. I wish the same for you... Enough of the pleasantries. You wish to change your status from hostile. Well, lets think about it.
You happen to be self confessed unlawful mercenaries, against all lawful entities within Sirius, on top of which, your leader has a vendeta against Liberty from which he was 'exiled'.
Politics in this situation seems rather futile in my opinion. Unless you and the rest of the HF are willing to renounce all that you have stood for up until this point, there is no need for such 'discussions' about our status.

I realise that there was to be some RP between the HF and ourselves, but since Elgato has left and there has been no plea for RP from anyone else, I am assuming that the RP scheduled has fallen away. In this case I see no reason why a lawful military would even want to be any less than hostile with an unlawful entity.
Dont get me wrong, I'd love there to be peace in Sirius and everyone get along real well, but it doesn't work that way. HF chose its roleplay and NPC alignment, we have ours. Unfortunately these choices deem us to be enemies. Unless HF is planning to change its roleplay to that of civilians or lawfuls, I will not budge.

Greetings Lt.Cmdr. I have read your reports and I congratulate you on your standards of service to the SA. In light of such service, and due to an openning in the ranks, I am offering you the rank of Acting Commander. You will have more authority and obviously receive a pay rise. Also, if we feel that you have filled the post well, we will offer you the permanent rank of Commander.
However, with this position comes more responsibility and a higher work load. You have a choice as to whether you accept it or decline it. That is completely up to you.
We have not announced this to all personnel. This is to be kept private for now.

However, we were betrayed by your DoD, and they decided to execute Drake, me, and my crew. The plot failed, and we fought our way out. Such was the beginnings of the Hellfire Legion.
