Either we need to change the FLHook log-off time to 30 seconds, or change the scanner range back to normal, taking the High setting off the activation.
People can now see at 11-12K. This means at the first sight of a hostile, the player can easily F1 before the person reaches them. This post was caused when Prospector decided he didn't like the turn of events that pitted his fighter against my Luxury Liner. I'm 10k when he begins the log off sequence. I'm at 2k when he disappears.. And guess what? Changes from a fighter.. To a Gunboat! Figures doesn't it? Can't live with being stuck in what he got. Can anyone imagine traders just not liking being pirates and just 'switching' to a convenient little capship to go kill the pirate with? Abuse? Maybe?
Something needs to be done, as this problem is going to get worse before it gets better.

dear boy..i knew that u will attack me long before u came near me...u call for my location on damm system chat...
Today i tried to lose xeno tag and get xeno guard tag...all day i way taking and dropping mission and i had no intentions to attack anybody...5 times i have been attacked while i was on mission...i killed all attackers and they still came again and again..if u think that i will be target practice for entire server then u are wrong...
I have even been attacked by two LSF fighters and after i killed both of them (i was in my GB) one changed to GB and attack me again with remaining fighter again...so i fought them both again...
only one who showed respect and decent RP today was SA-Harrington..he came after me in fighter while i was still in GB...when i saw that it isn't fair fight i told him that i will use my fighter..to even the odds..
and after all that u came eager to kill one Xeno guy in eagle with bloody Lux liner...well it not gonna happen...i am sick and tired of being target practice with out RP...
@Mal: both fighter and GB were docked at same base (Ouray)..and yes..after i unlocked he attacked me first...i hoped that my GB will scare him off..i didnt wanted to fight him..but when he wanted it so badly it seems i gave him a fight....
@Dab..u fired first at me...also..both of those ships are flown by same person..read my RP thread...

yeah i know that..and usually i really don't mind..i even worked to get guard tag so i would get red to everybody..but they all went to search for me...i didn't came to them like i usually do...and after i killed every single one, and after i got Dab out of there, how much they need to understand that it isn't good to attack me..if i were still online i wonder how many would come to Ouray base in search of me?...next time every body who wish to test their skill and/or ships i will gladly help them in Connecticut
It is proper RP to fire on Xenos.. A fact Doom tried to argue about when I retreated after he switched chars. They also weren't docked, but both in space.
If you can't stand getting attacked all the time, don't be a Xenos. I wouldn't have even bothered if you were not fighting the SA.
And I thought it was decent RP when I DID ask for location on system comms. Its called asking the SA where you were so I could assist. If you'd care to review how I worded it, you'd notice me calling myself a yacht, etc, etc. Not, 'Where is the pirate, I need target practice!!#$!1%!%'
And when you knew I was after you, you should have changed. But you waited until you saw me on scanners, than F1d. You then justified it by stating we weren't in a fight yet. But above you also claim to know I was after you. Wouldn't that then suggest you were willing to fight if you stayed in space, and in your fighter until you saw what I was flying? Not to mention, a Lux Liner can be killed by a fighter.
And I also wonder how that same person managed to cold-shirt through space between the fighter and the GB.. I also wonder how this justifies it anyway?
It was abuse, admit it. If you didn't want to fight, you could have docked, or changed to GB long before I showed up. I should up in something that was hard for you to fight, deal with it and get on, not try to change ships. For example, I'm in a fighter, I get jumped by 2 SA. Ones a GB, one a BS. (This happened) I had a a GB in the system, a bomber no more than one system away, and a Dreadnaugh only two. I stick with the fighter though, since thats what I'm found in. I didn't go grab the bomber so I could 'uber-pawnzor!!!@#%! Win!!'
You state you want a fair fight, but a fighter against a Lux Liner is just as unfair as a Lux Liner against a GB with Infernos. However, you were found in the fighter. Instead of playing fair and dealing with the trap you got yourself into, you had to go abuse the scanner range and change ships just so you could win.

Its not about winning, losing, testing ships or skills. Its about the fact that you were engaged with a lawful my RP dictates I defend from you unlawfuls.
If I was intent simply killing you, I would go make a military GB/Cruiser/bomber and go after you. All you can think of is winning and why others attack you when you beat everyone else. That isn't what this game is about. Nor is this community about winning. You acted basically like I did nearly two years ago when I began to play here. Everything had to do with winning.
Take a tip; It burns you out, and you won't have a reason to play much longer. Get involved in the RP, worry about something more substantial than winning.
Dab eagle is docked before i changed chars (so u see FL Hook did its job nicely..no 10 secs delay when i was docked)..and still is docked..GB was in space cause of reasons i told earlier...SA wanted fair fight and i gave him one...
i can stand being attacked...i showed that earlier...i didn't say anything about you retreating from fight after i used my GB..and if u think that i abused my ships then fine...think what u are...
also i didn't bother to look what is your rank when i answered all those questions i system chat about where infernos can be bought, how SA got killed by his own mine and my CD...and several other things..that is why i didn't change to GB...
i was flying it before u entered and i switched to fighter only for SA sake..not yours..i could stay in GB kill SA and then kill u...wouldn't that be more fair?
and no it isn't proper for spa and cruise trader to search for Xeno ..when u entered the system i already killed SA..and technically he couldn't give u my position..he was dead....so u see in my eyes your only intention was to get to Colorado and attack me...being tired of all the fights today i didn't gave u chance to kill me..tough luck

Dab..do not teach me how to play or how to act with in the game...i didn't want to win...i actually very rarely do, in most cases i am out gunned and out numbered...it was about not getting the pleasure to eager players to tire me down with constant attacks...i was doing my rep on my GB and getting interrupted all the time..attacked while i was on missions...while i was under attack i led (by telling him the way) new xeno guy to omega 49 and back to get equiped... even he was attacked in unequipped ship
i never attack like that and i expect rest to treat me the same way...if they don't..i know how go against that...u came in in wrong time and got burned...
