i was there, Zoner and we were merely defending ourselves against the pilots in the Spatial and his friend in a corsair ship, which made me even more furious. I'm sure it was merely a loose rocket or a malfunction in the missiles targeting device. Two of your fellow Zoners were there to witness how we got repeatedly attacked INSIDE the NFZ. The HAF did nothing wrong.

A report from Captain James Black of the Norfolk Fleet has been brought to my attention, detailing a grave abuse of freeport regulations in Omega 3. A force of several corsairs gathered at Freeport 1 refused to leave the area when politely asked to do so by a BAF security patrol in the system and instead loitered around the Freeport, making threats, taunts and even firing wildly into empty space and at the Freeport itself in clear infingement of Zoner regulations, as the evidence attached shows. Our officers on the ground immediately contacted Zoner authorities from the Consortium, but by the time Mr C.M. Burns had arrived on the scene the corsairs had gathered a large force at the Freeport and used the security of the no-fire zone to launch an aggressive attack out of, taking down one of our destroyers and neccessitating the calling in of reinforcements from Rheinland to see them defeated. As the evidence also clearly shows, all BAF ships remained outside of the 5K no fire zone during the buildup to the conflict, acting legally and responsibly at all times. It is the express wish of the Bretonian nation that the perpetrators of these crimes be dealt with swiftly by the Zoner Alliance as a demonstration that they will continue to uphold the decent law-abiding policies laid down by their legal predecessors in the Council of Zoners.

[font=Verdana]Greetings Lord Canning
Thank you for gathering this evidence and forwarding it to us for processing.
Unfortunately the last neural net link seems to be broken and returns a '404' Error. If possible, please resend that one.
The Alliance Committee will look into this matter as soon as possible.
I would simply like to remind you that it is against Zoner law to loiter around our Freeports. As Mr Duke noted, the Alliance is reveiwing the matter internally.
In regards to the BAF surrounding the Freeport, Zoners do not control the space outside 5k away from the Freeport. As for having to fight your way out, I know there to be some fine beer served at the bar on Freeport 1. Your men (I presume) could have simply docked and had a beer, as BAF cannot prevent you from doing that.
Lord Canning
From the proof you presented, I, cannot conclude they broke any Zoner law. Perhaps they were loitering but the provided gun cams do not prove this. Section III of the Treaty of Beth does allow the BAF the right to ask loiterers to either move or dock, but I see no proof they were loitering. As for the matter of them taunting and insulting your men, you provided proof of quite the opposite. It was your own men who were insulting others.
The only thing that bothers me is the claim that they based an attack from Freeport 1. This is indeed something that is against Zoner law. From the gun cams you presented only two Corsairs were in the NFZ of Freeport 1.
conchita.lopez and [B-AS-F]-Autarch-
Only one of which you have proved to be in combat against your forces. You clearly have a gun cam of conchita.lopez in combat with your forces, so it would seem she/he did indeed stage at the Freeport. However, your gun cam shows Mr Autarch to be 6.8 kilometers away from the fight. As for the other Corsairs present at the time of combat, I see no proof they staged at Freeport 1 at all.
I ask for further proof, if you cannot provide it simply await for the Alliance's response, but remember we won't find people guilty unless we see proof.

The evidence presented clearly shows several points:
1. The corsairs clearly and explicitly refused to move on or dock when politely asked to do so - if this does not count as loitering I don't know what does.
2. The corsairs, when informed that loitering was in breach of Zoner law, showed clear disrespect for Zoner law, mocking the mention of legal articles.
3. The penultimate image clear shows the corsair by the name of Autarch firing his weapons towards the Freeport inside the No Fire Zone. In fact this firing continued for some time and more images of a similar nature can be presented if requested.
4. The corsairs waited for more reinforcements to arrive before launching a major attack against us out of the Freeport area. If you do not beleive our testemony of this, please contact the respectable Zoner leader Mr C.M. Burns who I beleive arrived at the scene in his ship at this point and can be considered a reliable witness to the subsequent events.
I beleive the Armed Forces are also attempting to contact Ensign Keevan who was at the scene in order to ascertain if he took any more footage that may be used as evidence to support our case.
Trusting your good sense in reaching a just conclusion to this affair,
Lord Charles Canning

More evidence has been forwarded to my office from the Armed Forces, this time offering conclusive proof of the corsairs' attack out of the Freeport area.
Recently, a Hacker gunship under the call-sign of "Bomberjoe", has been operating in the Magellan system, belligerently demands multiple millions of credits from passing traders, mainly along the trade lanes. Today however, he and two other pirates with Rogue identifications were accosting traders, namely myself, and another under the call-sign "Noble.Gas" immediately outside of Freeport 4. I even saw them fire on the station itself, in what I assume was a bid to knock out its defenses. I was demanded a million credits for my life, despite being within a few meters of the station, and I begrudgingly gave it to him, since I'd rather live to report this than die with a hold full of Engine Components. Attached to this message is a gun-cam recording of the gunship "Bomberjoe", with a clearly visible missile trail from his firing upon the station, not to mention knocking out my shields with only a few seconds warning with a full volley in order to "persuade" me to pay his "tax".
Honorably,
-Arnold Hartwin
(//I probably could have speed-docked in time, but I hardly saw OORP as an answer to his OORP and NFZ Violation.)
