I'll be there in my Eagle. I've informed the rest of OSI also.
I'd be delighted to join you in my Roc. Seems like it'll be veeery interesting, assuming I can make it of course. Hope I can help you guys out in this.
A Gunboat. We are restricting Battleships to 1 per NPC faction and would perfer if the Order Primary Fleet brought their Battleship should they chose to.
Like we replied in the private channel, the Benitez familly should be able to help you in this rescue operation. Benitez Pilot have already in the past made a few exploration missions in these Wild systems and our knowledge and skill in such operation could be an asset for the succes of this expedition.
We will set up a special wing who take part of this operation.

Subject: Leonardo rescue mission
I have recently been informed by Mr. Burns of your need to find the ship ]c[Volantis. We would be glad to offer assistance in this multi task expedition in thanks for your offer and permission to berth at Freeport XV.
Our two ships have been docked for a few weeks and we have completed module upgrades to our cruiser. These upgrades will support our research goals as we pursue the ORC project. Please keep in mind that our cruiser is not a hardened battle crew and we are more suited for expedition and scientific data collection. With that said many of my crew including myself completed several tours in the Order Reserve fleet and have experience in dealing with Nomad specimens. Our second ship is strictly fitted for escort security to our cruiser. Our window of availability is centered on Freeport time slot 3 (GMT-7).
In the future we hope to establish a working alliance with your research group. The ORC project has synergy with your MSD project I believe. Anyway, more to discuss here hopefully.
Good evening,
Firstly, I wish to thank everyone who has already volunteered for this operation. We are all very much grateful for all of your support in this matter.
As I have recently been elected as Head of the Department of Research, it falls to me to co-ordinate the rescue mission, in conjunction with my colleague Christian Burton, Head of Security. Rest assured that planning is continuing apace, we are busy gathering further intelligence and vital information about the target systems.
We have determined that while we would like a sizable force, we would prefer to deploy ships of lighter class for the mission. We will require mostly fighter-class vessels, with a smaller number of bomber-class ships as support. We will only require only very few gunboats, and no ships of greater class, with the exception of the Leonardo itself. Since this will be a search and rescue operation into unfamiliar territory, larger vessels would just be a liability to the success of the mission.
At this point in time we plan to escort the Leonardo into the designated system and then split up into groups, each searching a different sector before returning to the Leonardo, which will act as our base of operations for the duration of the mission. This should allow us to cover as great an area as possible in as quick a time as possible, thus reducing the chances of us being detected by hostile forces.
If anyone else is interested in participating, please forward to us your ship class and identification, in addition to your current time cycle (+- GMT).
