Did a bit of a shift today and had a bit of a chat to some people. I solved a problem between two pirates and helped a person figure out how to mine in penn. There isn't really a lot happening when I'm on and it gets quite quiet most days. Oh well, I'll just have to start some funny RP again.

Sadly I had a disappointing shift tonight. As soon as I get on a player in Pennsylvania is flooding the system channel with how he's quitting Freelancer and wants to go out with a bang. So he's killing underlevels, no roleplay dialog, and arguing with other players who then also start going out of roleplay.

I contact him on a private channel to talk to him but he laughs at me in system channel. Don't get me wrong, I do have a sense of humor, but not in this case. I switched on Skype to see if I had some backup, but Skype crashed. Said player wandered into New York and I stayed in Pennsylvania as I received another call.

Talked to a friendly pilot whether a Freelancer could use Xeno weapons. I said "no" and gave him a list of other options.

Then to top it off, I player contacts me on a private channel and starts in about his genitals. I take a quick screenshot and the server crashes. I sent a note to the heavenly host as this sinner is going to the hot place.

Not a productive night.

So I helped out Tobias Finn today at skype. Not much happened, he was just bored of Discovery and apparently RP'ed everything, pirate, trader, military etc. So I began to brainstorm some other RP ideas with him and we came up with quite a few, including a researcher on the run, a smuggler who deals in synthetic marijuana are just to name a few. I also suggested a few strategies to help him come up with his own character ideas, including my own strategy of google imaging character display pictures and then coming up with a story for them. Went quite well and he seems to be re-interested in disco again.

A short shift this morning. Just a number of things to be sorted out concerning a few misplaced rules and ideas. Greeted Pennsylvania in Kyushu to my own embarrassment. Moved down and parked outside Manhatten offering help to anyone around. Saw a strange sight outside Liberty's Capital and attempted to resolve the problem the only way an Angel can.

He didn't reply but I think he got the message.

A very sad story to hear of a rule bender robbing -PLR-Abaddon of his victory and presence in New York. An unnamed Liberty fighter engaged him, Abaddon was winning the fight and his opponent managed to get to a point where he ran away on his thrusters. He then stopped at a distance of 9.5k, making it seem like he fled and let Abaddon do the work and fly away in the opposite direction. As soon as they were 10k apart, the Liberty fighter claimed victory and began ranting of how PLR had broken the rules yadda yadda and must leave the system yadda yadda yadda.

If my brothers wouldn't mind I would like to back Abaddon in this case should it escalate to anything out of order. Yes his opponent was within the rules, but what was observed here is an extreme case of foul play and an advantage taken out of A.D.M.I.N. rule mechanics.

I advised Abaddon to continue playing the game as he would and try to avoid this particular person until the four hours were up. Best to avoid any trouble if it can be avoided. But it seems sad for someone to ruin gameplay for another player who was simply a better fighter. An act out of spite and vengeance.

A sad but productive shift.

So I got on, somebody accidentally '//' in system chat, I reminded her not to do so again and she understood. I think that was lisollete.har...yeah I don't know how to spell her name...

And then a guy named Jamess was wondering why all Rheinland factions were enemies with him. I asked him whether or not he was friendly with Liberty factions and he said yes, and then I told him about the war. He then said 2 days ago he was friendly with both countries, I told him that he must've been repninja'd. And then he was wondering why he couldn't dock, I told him to wait, he waited, and then he managed to dock.:)

And then LNS-Providence asked me a few questions about Alaska, he was in a dreadnought. I was able to answer all of them except for one. Are independent Capital ships allowed to fire upon non-complying transports/smugglers in Alaska and Zone 21? I told him to make a post on the forums about it because I wasn't so sure, I also told him to stick away from firing at transports and such just in case it is a rule violation.

and then -=HORUS=- asked me where he could pimp his ship and I told him he can pimp it at any shipyard which was basically a base with the word shipyard on it (like "aland shipyard" or "norfolk shipyard") and it worked for him.

And then I docked and logged.

I ran about a two hour shift last night.

Nothing much happened, other then the usual random questions and RP with an IND fella. As well as a guy who kept shooting up Starfleas, but stopped at the hands of the Navy in-rp, which I was very impressed with.

I pulled a couple of evening shifts where I met the following groovy pilots: Christopher.Dangen and his sister, Mick Jones, Corran_Horn, SMI=Great.Fox, Susanna.Nestel, HunterZero, Meat_Sandwiches, -Nightmare-, Lazr_Vernacular, and testtt.

I advised about the Barge, relationship between IFF and ID, not having two IDs, can a Junker use a Werewolf VHF (I initially said no but upon further research they can with permission from Rogues or Mollies), where to purchase Cardimine, how to use the server cash commands, renaming, advise on joining the RM, LN, TAZ, or MM, and the Order's relationship to other factions.

All in all a productive time,
