It's a good looking signature, however I'm not too fond of the glow around the ships and text. You could also try blending modes for the house symbols.

Small amounts of glow can be nice, but large amounts of glow in a color that doesn't match anything else (although it complements the blue nicely) just makes it a bit too obvious. Also, look at the top line of text.

Why so much Wiki Render hate? I love those things! Also, the fact that CShake took the time to make them is ****ing awesome.

That being said, I'm not diggin' the placement of the render.

Make a reflection of the cruiser so the front faces the upper right corner, enlarge it slightly and have some parts of it overlapped by the character, then rotate it so it's nearly horizontal.

Update; Used blending modes for house symbols (mainly in the background, together), Changed text, Removed glow and out shadows in instead.

Well, you should fiddle some more with the text until you get it right. You're on the right track. And a tip to make the house symbols more visible: just duplicate them, as many times as it's needed.

You probably used bevel and emboss for the text, but you need to tweak the settings so it fits your slim font. Other than that, well done.
