Clearly dismayed at the rude awakening, Vincent shakes his head to clear it and does his best to will away a very familiar headache, the sort caused by drinking too much scotch after a late night's work. Either somebody must have been kind enough to simply let him pass out right where he'd been sitting all night drinking, or they'd missed him altogether.
He scratched his chin whilst blearily blinking his way to full consciousness.
Bluh. Andrew-bot, I'll need a young priest and an old priest and... Scratch that, actually. First of all, I will need coffee. That and whatever's on today's breakfeast menu might be enough to exorcise the remainder of my hangover.
He looked around the room before fixing his gaze on Raynold.
Oi! New guy! Bleeding marvelous way of ingratiating yourself to a senior employee, you tit! Throwing water in my face... Try that again, and I will be throwing things back, you know. Maybe some spare rocks from the ore storage.
With that, the grumbling captain focused on his coffee while he waited for his meal to arrive.
Sorry, maybe the next time tough boy, I'm off to Falster. This place is not in a proper shape yet. She then grabs her jacket and kisses Robert on the cheek. Until the next one! She says softly as she turns away.
After stepping out of the way of the security guards dragging two kicking pilots who were trying to continue their fight as they went Stew Wolfe a tall but rather rotund middle aged gentleman entered the Bar for his first time since it was completed.
Standing in the doorway Stew looks around the room examining each face as he looked upon it.
A few junior pilots and King's Cross Station maintenance workers were rather raucous and drunk in the corner...luckily they were in the far corner.
A few other workers were enjoying their drinks at other tables around the room.
Mark Sanders and an other man were deep in conversation at a table to his right.
A pilot wearing a Bowex Captains uniform was at a table talking to a Kusarian woman, neither of who he recognised, but he did guess that the Captain could of been one of the new captains promoted from the junior ranks and the Kusarian could be from the Gas Miners Guild whom he had just recently been informed had purchased a Docking permit....or is it that pilot who bought one personally he thought to himself...but he put that train of thought out of his head.
Continuing his scan of the bar Stew spotted Vincent Erlheim leaning against the bar with a puddle of water forming on the bar from his head that was tilted down nearly touching the bar, furthermore a puddle was forming under him.
Chuckling to himself Stew walked into the bar stopping beside Vince, placing his arm around Vince's shoulders. "You alright?. Seems you had..." Stew leans back and looks at the floor before chuckling "..an accident." Stew emits a friendly chuckle and then moves to the other side of Vincent and sits upon one of the barstools.
Seeing a robot move towards him and remembering talking to Peterson about robots being used temporarily to tend the bar. "May I have a tall glass of some Scarborough malt please?"
"Coming right up Mr. Wolfe"
Surprised by the robot sounding uncannily like Peterson and being called Mr. Wolfe without having to have introduced himself first "umm....thank you"
Looking over at Vincent then back at the Robot "And mug of Coffee for Vince...a glass of Melon Juice for Miss Hidamari and a large bowl of Savory snacks for the lot of us"
"Coming right up Mr. Wolfe"
Mumbled to Vince but mainly to himself "hmm....seems being promoted to supervisor everyone knows who I am"
Stew then sat semi-comfortably waiting patiently for his drink and Kiriko to arrive.
"Next time, fill the bloody station with ore." Rob mumbled to himself as the young GMG rep walked away.
He saw Wolfe and Vince, who was still a bit soaked, and he decided to see how they were doing. "So, are you better now, Vince?" Robert asked with a smile. "By the way, I don't believe I've properly introduced myself with either of you. I'm Robert Raynolds, captain of the Faithfull, relatively new here." , he continued. "So, should I hastily make a retreat to my ship and raise the shields, so I don't get hit by a huge rock? Or can I stay and meet Kiriko in the flesh?" Robert asked, clearly ready to head for the bays.
Stew eyes the new-comer up and down. "Raynolds you say" Stew extends his hand to shake Raynolds hand. "Nice to meet you. I'm Stew Wolfe by the way. Captain of the Rutherford."
A thoughtful look crosses his face. "Raynolds.." he mumbles to himself. "Are you the one that was grumbling at a cargo boy after you accidentally walked into his cargo trundler." Stew had a look a father give someone who has threatened his child, which soon softened to a friendlily smile. "Anywho...nice to meet you... and yes..." looks over as the robot brings over a tray carrying his order "I'm sure Vince and I won't mind you waiting with us."
Stew takes a gulp from his drink and then takes a handful of the snacks.
*shakes his head in dismay* I tought Bellock was bad enough...but now we've got people that are trying to kill each other in their free time. Well good thing security stepped up and took them out, we should probably keep our distance from them right?
Mark looks at the two brawlers again and sakes his head. Well let's hope they don't come back here anytime soon eh?
As he wants to get the Peterson Robot to the table Mark sees Stew enter and walk to a table. Ey John isn't that Vincent there? Erm...seems so yes, wow he doesn't look good.
With a big grin on his face Mark gets up and starts walking over to Vincent. Let's cheer him up then, see you later John or are you going to help me?*laughs* No thanks i'll finish my drink and see what else there is here.*smiles*
Arriving at the table Stew already sat down and has sent the Peterson Robot on his way Mark sits down next to Vincent and chuckles gleefuly and greets Stew and the unkown Person next to him with a short wave.
Ahoy there Stew how are things? And good day to you Lad didn't you do a small convoy with me a few days ago? Now Vincent my dear friend what did bring you down this time?
“This font is good people said, this font is awesome others said, I say it works well enough to waste 2 seconds of your life reading this.”
" 'ello Mark...how's things you ask....well they make you supervisor and it's paperwork paperwork paperwork.." Chuckles and shakes his head a little. "But hey..us moving up makes way for others aye?" Indicates towards Raynolds.
Stew then grabs the bowl of snacks and offers it to the other three.
Vincent takes a long sip of his coffee before replying.
Well, I was doing alright until numbnuts here came around and threw water at me. Rudest awakening I've had in weeks. But I suppose he can stick around. If he doesn't consider his liver a particularly vital organ, that is. Or his spleen, but that would be for reasons other than the one I've implied thus far.
"Slightly sorry for that Vince. A few slaps would have woken you up too, without you running the risk of pneumonia." Robert said, looking back on his actions. "I really didn't notice the hassle all too much, I was buzzed and chatting up that Kusarian." he continued.
