one suggestion: remove the ,,bricks,, between the scorpi and the planet and the scorpi-tail... dunno why...its just a feeling it should not be there...hm..

edit: it is perfect this way. Otherwise I meant the bricks between scorpitail and the planet what he holds.

I'd say just remove the overlaying pattern completely, it's not helping.

Just lower the opacity of the pattern overlay, and add a light outer glow to your text.
