2 Ceb BS Turrets
and the rest Solaris.

Who the hell can fight with this?

Don't suppose you noticed my thanking the people that helped me set these ships up, did you? I had 10 other people in the group with me testing and tweaking things.

And they are... who exactly? Obviously not people who know how to fly the ships they kit out. XD

Further discussion regarding the gunship is neither needed, wanted, or allowed in this thread.

Why? Because you said so? Well I want to discuss this, and I want people to see this. Your answers to this issue have been and still are inadequate, your support for this event is terrible, you have ignored mine and many other people's suggestions that you didn't like, and now you have resorted to outright stonewalling the resulting discussion that you also don't like...

I don't think an admin should act like this at all. It's a shame that this can't be discussed with you, so I will discuss it with other people.

Just remove the Battle Razor and Solaris and replace them all with Primaries.

There you go, a basic anti-cap set up.

What bugged me though was that there weren't enough Pulse turrets.

You're a faction leader... but your faction isn't involved in the event. Agmen has authority in the BHG, and that pretty much means that he has the final say in this matter.

Gahh im too stuck to this orca!.. Now i feel like to buy one now .. So good.
But meh.. BHG CAmps order.. order camps BHG.. Order pushes back by 20 oriris spam.. back to dab.. then BHG pushes back to minor.. order camps BHG.. BHG pushes through.. order oriris spam is formed again.. 50/50 survived.. they pushed back again to the delta hole.. BHG Camp order at hole.. order camp BHG At hole.. thats all i got so far :P

Basically nothing about the event setup is right...

The list of issues is so long it would take half an hour just to write it down all these issues were warned about beforehand by community and dev team members, on normal forums just as well as on dev. ones. Many of these issues also happened in the previous event and people complained about them then. All were said to be "adressed" by the event organizers.

I'll point out some of them:

- BHG can't buy just about anything on their base while order is in guard system, this was to be adressed by custom made server-side update which was submitted 3 weeks ago yet is not in place

- Order can dock on Minor and Issis, Issis fires at BHG - this could be adressed by at least 2 ways, simplest of them all is to set BOTH BHG and Order red to normal order faction, then it fires on both

- higher capital ship upgrades on BS favor their use above everything else

- some ship loadouts are very limited by one thing or another, BHG fighters/bombers lack CD to counter cruising or even sliding, some BHG ships have only Advanced CM which makes them very vulnerable to missiles.


Funnily enough the net result of this is that it is completely pointless to play on BHG...at all.

Those people did extremely bad job. So bad one would wonder if they did it on purpose.

Tommeh and Hot Rod - Order HC - kitted out the rest of the Order ships

Dashiell, Monte, A&L, and I - kitted out the BHG ships

Foo Fighter and Treewyrm kitted out the Nomad ships

Additional support and checking was provided by Dab, Soveriegn, and Dennis Jameson.

Since it was impossible to turn off the Isis or change things around the planet (we asked Matt, he couldn't do it without making everyong download a different mod) - NOR we were able to actually make the update work (we tried) - I had a choice. Go with an event as is, or cancel everything. So I went with the event as is. If you don't like it, you are free to not participate. If you chose to not do so, then do NOT criticize or complain about things.
The minor detail that anyone in particulars help was not requested is not a reflection upon them - simply that this is an admin sponsored event at the request of Igiss, to get video and pictures of these really cool battles. That is the purpose of this thread.
Further negative comments and complaints will be considered off topic and invis'd without warning. Let the players have some fun.
