Is there any mapping between Freelancer RP characters and the forum user?

Hi,

I've just joined the Universe. Some of you have been kind enough to escort me around my play pen in Pensylvania.

I was wondering if there was any link between my characters in the Discovery universe and my forum account? I read on the forums that some game dynamcis may be managed via the forums (warnings, events, etc.). I guess I'm worried about missing important content related to my characters that might appear on the forum.

There isnt any link, that magically displaying your history in the forums.:laugh:

How do I change the text where it says 'Starflyer pilot' under my name? I find this side a bit hard to navigate (or I'm just not used to forums).

As you post more, that title will change to different ships.
One you hit 2001 posts, you'll get a custom title.

It doesn't really mean anything - doesn't make you better or smarter.
Just means you've wasted more time... like me.

If you see someone with the word [Angels] in front of their name - they are helpers. They do NOT have Admin powers. But they can help you with questions that you might have.

When you log into the server, you'll see a list of names. Now put the word [Admin] in front of each of those names.

Realize that if you ask us something and we don't get right back to you, chances are it's not that we're ignoring you - it's because we're dealing with something unpleasant somewhere in game.

Most of the time we'll talk to everyone here on the forums normally. If something is posted in a very bright (or in Dab's case, very blue (I think, I'm colorblind)) color - that means it's pretty darned official and you need to pay attention. There are also forum moderators that have limited powers on the forum, but not Admin powers in game.

all in all the conclusion is that disco doesn't need antagonist factions, it doesn't need phantoms, it doesn't need nomads, it doesn't need coalition and it doesn't need many other things, no AIs, the game is hijacked by morons to confuse the game with their dickwaving generic competition games mixed up with troll-of-the-day.
