Apologies for the comment regarding docking rights, I was under the impression that after you violated the Corsair ZoI, as Montezuma had said already, you might be in trouble with the Corsairs.
Zelot the reason I oppose this group's RP is because of the far reaching consequences of such a group existing. There are souls, there is hell, there is heaven, there are god/s. All these things are forced upon Discovery if this group exists.
Ghosts controlling a ship. They could take over any ship at any time and they can't be killed, they are an unstoppable force basically.
Then comes the idea that they are controlling a ship.
As Athenian just said, you could take over any ship you want basically.
Why do you even have ships?
When it comes down to it, it makes no sense for you to pilot a ship if all you want are souls. You could just pick up a rifle and go around a BHG Station and slaughter everyone.
If you are truly ghosts, you cannot be stopped. You can kill every single living being without any consequences whatsoever.
This group is about one thing and one thing only, pvp.
Your own RP contradicts your use of ships but since you want to shoot people ingame, you need to use ships.
If you aren't about PVP, go kill some people in RP and leave out the ships ingame.
That's what someone who wants to hurt his enemies might do, not waste Corsair resources on new capital ships. That's not really helping the Corsairs, that's just doing what they always do.
First this is to Mr. Agmen, you invite me into the Phantoms and ill scrap this whole Ghost.Ship thing! but we all know thats never going to happen. I know we relate to them quite a bit and that wasnt really the plan but i can see know where the phantoms may have evolved from. So think about please i would love to join.
as for people not liking us all i have to say is iam sorry but we are trying to have fun and do new things like everyone else. My intentions are not to create enimies but to build on FL game play. Iam sorry if you are upset with us or dislike our RP. I really hate the negativity but non-theless it will only help our RP.
And that was me in Omega 56 and i was Hunting these BHG for a few systems, when i herd the were buying new ship (from inside informate) i took it apon myself to test there skill. if it was me in a new dessie i would have been like "yes a Ghost.Ship lets test these new guns crew" but thats just me i guess.
I respect all the community members and only ask the same in return.
Thank you all again for the feedback.
There will be no scrapping of anything, your desire to join the phantoms has nothing to do with ghost ship whatsoever please that statement makes us look bad

In the end, Artificial intelligence is just the content of the programming. Data. Data can be sent anywhere pretty much instantly, and the way computers interact, the program could be sent to any ship to take it over. There is no way to defend against it, and there is no real reason for there to be a "pilot" but we aren't questioning the rp of AI ships in game.
Nomads and Wilde are telepathic, they can take over the pilot of any ships and there is nothing anyone can do to stop them. No questioning the ramifications of that.
CS: Are AI and Telepathic, they have millions of agents everywhere in Kusari, they can kidnap anyone. There is no way to fight them. Hmmm, not much questioning there.
So why is this different?
Edit: as to the whole "not being able to die" thing, come on, how many of us regularly rp our pilot being killed when his ship is destroyed?

Please note 'Ghosts' ...
You'll find an attitude like that gets everyone's backs up, including the administrative staff, regardless of
whether they have any factional interest or not. You be best not be force-feeding something to everyone's
dislike, onto the server inconsiderately

But I did notice, he posted the thread in the first place ... Maybe this isn't quite as serious as you would like to
make out. Little lack of cohesion in the ranks perhaps ? ...
Some say he is a proud member of: "The most paranoid group of people in the Community."

do that, and that makes things a whole lot better.

I personaly "do care" alot about what people think and what people want us to do. I enjoy our RPand think its alot of fun and i hope most of you all do too. If you dont like it iam very sorry we will do what we can to make it better. if you dont want to RP with us thats fine it will make me sad but its ok *sad face
i will certianly take every work said here into consideration on our RP.
Mr: Hoodlum i understand you want us to have a good attitude about this whole thing and i believe i have. I dont in any way wish to ruine my Rep in the Community. And i like the Phantoms and tried to get in but seems impossible thats all i was sayin really, and given the chance i would take it (sorry BLACKWIDOW).
I do however wish and hope this RP and our Ghost.Ship will be around a while i dont plan on going anywhere unless forced too ( ex. Admin say something like " no stop" )

As I understand it The Ghost Ship Osiris was chasing two Hunter Dessies that had desicrated sacred corsair burial grounds in Omega 7 looking for Intelligence stored on the burial ships. As such the two dessies proceeded to return to Hunter Space to relay the intel they had retrieved, but saw the Osiris coming so they proceeded to omega 56. Where by the commander of the ghost osiris deemed in the best interest of the corsairs to kill the two offending Hunter Dessies, retrieve the Souls of their crews and the intel they had recovered.
Zelot, I have not specifically stated that these gentlemen may not dock on Corsair bases. Based upon the initial page, the Corsair bases are the only places that they CAN dock. I don't have a problem with that - that is something they can do.
I do have problems with justifying something that is sanctionable if it actually occurred. Specifically, I want to see proof of who the two BHG Destroyers were and that they were in Omega 7. Being there is a violation of the BHG Guild Core ID. I have stated in the past, and do so again - I do not take favorites when rules are violated.

I am going to post three letters. It isn't to flame the group but to make a point.
TAZ
They exist. They are official and yet there has in no way been any god/goddess forced into Discovery as mod or server canon. Therefore you above statement is completely and utter false.

Thier RP doesn't contradict their use of ships. Everyone needs ship. Its the conduit through which people's RP happens.
As for how they get a new ship after they get killed? I can say the exact same thing for every other person killed while piloting a cap ship. If you really want to follow that line every faction with capital ships should be broke.
Now. I defended this group before and while I don't particularly like the RP myself and have had bad interactions with them in the past I don't understand why people who have no interactions with them have a problem with them.
I am also somewhat disappointed by this group. I defended you and hoped you'd up the RP, then the BHG thing. Attacking newly purchased ships that were in the process of being set up in the BHG GUARD system is poor RP. Period.
Then you, Outlaw, claimed you had to F1 in space (no problem there as no one was in range of you) due to RL issues. My problem with this? It is a flat out lie. I was monitoring you via the chat tab. I saw you in 56. I saw you kill the BHG members. Then I see you in your weapon dealer next to Freeport 9 not an hour later. You didn't log off the ghost ship due to RL. You logged and relogged your weapon dealer to avoid another fight with the BHG. That disappoints me. (big deal though)

I believe what he is saying that if we make a bunch of 'ghost' ships allowed, and allow the fact that they really are ghosts and really are feeding on souls, that does force that belief, the belief in souls and god, onto others. TAZ, while a faction based around a religion of chaos, doesn't force this on others. They adhere to several tenants, and believe, in-RP, that something is true.. There is nothing in the game saying it -is- true though. They have no character that is the god Eris, there is no undeniable proof of Eris' existance. So people are free to believe Eris exists or does not exist. With these ghost ships, if accepted the way they are, forces everyone to deal with the existence of souls and god as true while playing here.
They can't say ghosts and souls don't exist if there are Osirises crewed by ghosts flying around. They are forced to follow someone else's belief, and unable to follow their own.
I also share the concern over powergaming (not metagaming in this situation) with this roleplay. If you kill a player ship and start talking about how you just collected X number of souls, that's metagaming. It means the person on that ship was killed and you're stealing his soul. If that player didn't allow that to happen, that's you taking control of their character without permission, and that is powergaming.
