I want to make a database with all the dangerous pilots of Sirius.
I am sure that we all have a small or big list with them. Let’s join those lists and make a public database so all can see who the bad guys are or give a warning for others. Everyone will be able to report the pilots who destroyed their ship or pirated them. This may save a lot of lives out there.
The next time you see the known pirate or terrorist in your scanner you will know that you have to run away before it is too late.
Diffrent houses has diffrent criminals who are not concidered criminals in other houses. For example Gaianas. Or corsairs. Corsairs are not concidered criminals in their own space there they dictate the law. And so on.
Quote:Sorry, I'm not supporting this kind of metagaming.
Metagaming? Communication Channel is full of metagaming then. All the factions post about their encounters and messages like these are all around the forums.
It will be in Communication Channel as well. A neural net channel with information from the pilots of Sirius.

I am talking about criminals not enemies. A policeman is enemy of the thief but not a criminal for him.
A BAF, RM or LSF pilot will never pirate or kill someone. Except if you are a pirate, smuggler, terrorist etc.
You know what i mean by saying criminals.. Maybe i can make a different database for all the houses.
Tell me: Why should Liberty take their Time to help Rheinland creating a Database? Or why should Kusari help Bretonia? Kusari wouldn't really dislike Pirates in Bretonia, same as Liberty doesn't want to waste their Time to write down all the Unioners and Bundschuhs for Rheinland.

You say Message Dumps are metagaming? Or Communications? Communications are just Communications. (Dear Hackers, one of your Guys attacked one of us Outcasts for no Reason, please kill him.) That is a normal Exchange of Informations and a Question towards the Outcasts.
"Who is it doing this synthetic type of alpha beta psychedelic funkin'?"
There are some crimes which are considered crimes across all houses I am sure. Murder, rape, etc. In the RL we have INTERPOL, why cant there be an Interpol in FL? I think it could lead to some interesting RP actually.
^ been tried, by Zapp, about a year ago. Got mostly stonewalled by the house govs due to them having different rules and such (like Kusari not wanting to make artifacts straight up contraband, same deal with drugs in Bretonia, etc...). Granted, that was perfectly in RP for the house govs, but it still meant that the idea was shut down entirely. There have been more localized pacts like the Treaty of Curacao, but nothing Sirius-wide... especially now that everyone is at war.
Anyway, here's a specific example of why a unified criminal database won't work even if you say that the unlawful houses "don't count" for it. General Yarr, Black Dragon Society. To Kusari, he's a retired general from the army, and a well respected citizen. To the IMG, he's that bastard that keeps jacking their ore. To Bretonia, he's that fellow in the Claymore than needs to be executed. He is, technically, a civilian, not a military officer (anymore, anyway)- while KNF aren't "criminals" per say in Bretonia, he is. Yet in Kusari, he's not a criminal, and the local law enforcement waves fondly while knowing full well what he does outside of Kusari.
Understand why such databases need to be more specific, now?

There is always a criminal database. Maybe some houses are in war but some criminals are a threat for both of them. It is not about the houses helping each other but the pilots knowing the real enemy.
I don't think that this is metagaming. I said that because Ritsuka said about metagaming. A Corsair who can see the Liberty Dumps / messages or a BAF who can see messages from Kusari pilots are more "metagaming" than the pilots who can see a public criminal database..;)
