A very brief description of the "[size=medium]Altri Reietti".
(To be used for evaluation, Subject to change)
The Altri Reietti are a group of Italian Outcasts that have abandoned the sinking ship (In their opinion) that is the Outcast commonwealth. Originally formed as a small group of gamblers that hosted cockfights on the Outcast Shipyard 'Prato', the Altri Reietti eventually began to take interest into the past of the Outcasts (Due to several 'Incidents'). They soon learned about the DNA Disorder that plagued the majority of Outcasts living on planet Malta. They found they were unaffected by the disorder, mostly due to the fact that the station was an almost completly self contained population, meaning that families spent many generations on the station, And constant out breeding had introduced 'clean' genomes into their gene pool. The disorder had simply disappeared in most families. Replacing the thought patterns that arose from the Cardimine Disorder, another problem had instead been introduced, present in the majority of the Prato Shipyard population was extreme paranoia. This made the affected population act erratically, and lead them to make irrational decisions. They came across several rumours while they were poking around, the majority of them being negative. They heard from residents of planet Malta that birth rates had been greatly decreasing, that the total Outcast population was actually shrinking over time, by almost 40% since they arrived here. This was said to be because many Outcasts were infertile, and many fertile outcasts died at a young age before they could pass on their seed. These were of course rumours, but alot of them seemed to be backed by solid evidence. Slowly but surely the Altri Reietti grew in numbers, Until almost all of the families on the station were members. Several families hatched a plan,a very bizarre and terrifying plan. A plan which made many member families leave the station for planet Malta.

On September 2nd, 815A.S, The Battleship Melita was moored outside the Shipyard Prato. A fire was detected in the Battleship Melita's Cargo Hold, the fire slowly spread to the crew living quarters, and then into the ships magazine. All 12,200 tonnes of the Ships munitions exploded in one large clap, completly shredding the Battleship, and the Prato station. Instead of rushing to look for survivors, the Nearby Battleship San Martino, and Destroyer Marsala instead moved to a nearby jumphole, and fled the scene. The Outcasts never learned that the fire had been intentionally started, and that the Station residents and Battleship crew had instead been evacuated to the Battleship San Martino and Destroyer Marsala. The Altri Reietti first headed to Kusari, hoping to try to find a place to settle there, and become Allies with atleast one group there. They settled on a small station in orbit of a moon for a while, but where forced to leave due to large numbers of attacks on them. No one in Kusari wanted to know the Altri Reietti. The Altri Reietti moved around Kusari for a few months, but found nowhere they could be accepted. After much dispute and rivalry inside the Altri Reietti, Mostly regarding the plan in the first place, the decision was made to move to Rheinland. The situation seemed to be much the same at first there, but after a month or so the Altri Reietti managed to find shelter with the Unioners. The Altri Reietti performed several actions for the Unioners, and through them met the Red Hessians.

The Red Hessians took a liking to this new group of Outcasts, being completely free of Cardimine (In most cases), and willing to do almost anything for Credits or resources. A bond was eventually formed between the two factions, The Hessians traded Shipyard and Station usage, for Outcast technology, and favours from the Altri Reietti. The Hessians made plenty of use of their new Ally, Mostly for tasks in which the Hessians needed to appear anonymous. Of course capital ship usage for the Altri Reietti was highly restricted and disputed, but occasionally the odd Gunboat or Destroyer was allowed to enter Hessian space to complete a task or repair and resupply. The Altri Reietti have managed to build several more ships, including an almost flawless Tridente Gunboat and several Fighter and Bomber class vessels. Of course these never measured up to the standards they could have produced at the Prato shipyard.<span style="font-size:10pt;line-height:100%]

This feels a little bit like the Smokeones.

Although I have no problems, I wish your group good luck.

YESSS! This is what we need, a new Outcast faction with Outcast and Hessian technology in Rheinland. I just dont understand if you dock on LWB and Bundschuh bases why dont you use their technology too? Please pick up to the list these too. Hope you create this soon.

Why good trading with Barge? For this:

I guess I could look into using Their technology maybe, But as I'm aware they use mostly Civilian ships.

Ah, well. RH doesn't have battleships. You want to bring battleships to the Rheinland using OC ID / IFF? Alongside with Krakens.

Also, cardamine addiction is VERY HARD thing to get rid of. Because Outcasts use it for a very long time, it's in their genes now.
Without cardamine, your guys will die.

Uhm, I don't think the Hessian-Outcast ties are friendly enough for you to fly Sarissas and Ranseurs into Rheinland space. Especially not in light of the 101st-RHA relations lately.

Put Cryer Pharmaceuticals on the list of your arch-enemies. I bet they would be extremely lucky to get one of your pilots in order to do some research on how they could lose the connection to Cardamine.

What I could also imagine: you contact Cryer in order to help your Outcast brothers to get rid of the Cardamine addiction. But that would make you outcast Outcasts... umm... tricky situation.

Quote:The Altri Reietti are a group of Outcasts that have abandoned the sinking ship that is the Outcast empire.

The Outcasts are not an empire. They're a commonwealth.

Quote:They soon learned about the sickness that plagued the majority of Outcasts living on planet Malta. They found they were unaffected by the illness, mostly due to the fact that the station was almost self contained population, meaning that families spent many generations on the station, and the illnesss had simply died out.

It's not a illness. It's a genetically mutation forced by the cardamine that -all- Outcasts went through before they even began exploring offworld. You can't simply reverse the mutation without breeding constantly outside of the Outcast bloodline. If that worked, they would no longer be considered Outcasts. They'd be consider mere humans. Weak and pathetic, therefore they'd either be put in the fields, killed or dumped off on some distant place.

When the Outcast government eventually realised what you'd done they would come hunting for you.

If you must do this then use the Red Hessian IFF/ID and SRP any capital ships that you want that belong to the Outcasts. It's hard enough right now keeping tracking of every last sub faction of Outcasts.

P.S: If I seem like a jerk, it's because I'm being blunt.
P.P.S: The logo is funky.

I am aware of that, I was going to add some more to the story, and did mention that they weren't quite regular Outcasts, But It is getting modified now.

All these comments and suggestions are being taken in and the storyline is now being modified. Thank you for your input guys. The most up to date version can be found here. Once I'm happy with the changes I'll edit the post here.

[color=#ff0000]EDIT: Updated a little. More to come as I think of it.

Let me just tell you that you're not using Outcast tech if you plan on doing something like this.

Get an SRP or GTFO.
