Hello. So I've played here for 3-4 days, and decided to go in mining. I've read the mining guide, but the problem is, I don't have a partner. So I don't really see the best way to mine myself.
I have a miner ship with 180 cargo, and a Hauler 1800. I mine in Dublin's BMM field. I could just stay at one place and shoot the rocks, but is it possible to get them all in 180 cargo pod, and then transfer it to a Hauler really fast, so I can return to my mining?

you should mine helium in pennsylvania until you get up enough money for a dromedary....the mine helium till you get enough money for a mammoth,....then it shouldnt be too hard to mine helium to save for a hegemon
case your wondering
dromedary sold at bethleheim station,pennsylvania
both the mammoth and hegemon are sold at california minor, california

Try to contact some of the haulers with big ships (5k cargo ones). Tell them that you can mine for them, and when they are full they transport the cargo, sell it and give you half of the money. You could try this until you have enough money to buy a Hegemon or smth.
Ok thanks. While experimenting, I found out that cargo doesn't disappear fast enough. SO I can drop cargo, dock to station, Switch chars and pick it up.
Is it allowed?

It's allowed but it's also risky. Sometimes the cargo disappear faster. If there is someone around the base, then it shouldn't be a problem but make sure they aren't stealing your cargo.

Hello again Korvin.:PAs seafalcon said, There is a timelimit on the length ore stays around once nobody is within range. So if your experimenting was done with other ships around it could be that the ore stayed because they were within range. If you're on your own it becomes a very fine margin to pick it up in. It can be done - it's just very risky.
There is also another way... Just be real cautious. You place the two ships on different accounts, and you disconnect in space with the fighter. Keep in mind that doing such is against the rules if there are others around. Now you have one minute to log in with you other ship and shoot the first one.
Just don't report yourself. :-]
Not a prefect method, but still better than hoping that your ore will still be there when you relog.
By the way You received lot better hints than that.
Like geting a partner at least. And/or a Hegemon.
