Bomber (WARNING: Graphic intense thread)

Looks more like something similar of the Wasupu, meaning perhaps make it a civilian vessel...

If not that, I suggest it be Gaian ship. They need an unique fighter and I believe at least that green/white version looks something like what the Gaians could use...

I like the blue one alot. The Gaians already have a fighter in 86 I think, I think this would be great as a Wasupu replace actually.

Don't the phantoms already have a bomber + fighter?
Reason I ask was I made a phantom line a while back and was told that there is one? I would have had to make my design look like ones that already existed in game? Kinda defeated the point so I left it.

Well the Phantoms have their own Ships. Two Fighters and a Cruiser. The said Cruiser is an Import and as I heard hard to fly and fight with, because of it's Shape. The both smaller Ships look old and are plain black with the Phantom Symbol.

I think, if you change the Red to something else like Purple or dark Blue, it would be fit damn good. Though the Red looks good aswell. I wouldn't use that Ship for the Xeno Shipline, because it looks too advanced. What I would like to see are upgraded Civilian Ships, nothing more.

Wasupu...meh. Currently it looks bad, but if you use that Ship, then you have a lonely Fighter/Bomber that doesn't fit to anything else. So I would like to see the Phantoms flying around in that Ship.

Would love to see Virus posting in here if he hasn't done that yet.

You must think some of the community are really stupid, don't you there Veronee? Here are some pictures I saved a while back to my PC because I thought they looked cool and would try my hand at modeling a similar craft and use this as inspiration. Do they look familiar folks?

And if it IS your design, which I highly doubt, considering the file name I saved was ""Sith_Starfighter_Concept_by_kieranoats.jpg" (FURTHERMORE which came from www.deviantart.com), then I'm sorry I mis-judged you, but when I saw this post to begin with, I was outraged. I'd like some proof that these are really your designs before I go about commenting on them and your skill.

Not really, anyone can take a picture and place layers on it that would make it look convincing. I just find it odd (and convenient) that someone who is a very popular DeviantArt artist would post the very same ship designs up on Discovery. The world isn't that small...I don't care what you think...

...regardless. The ship designs are nice. I vote they be civilian, if you designed them yourself...that is.

In regards to the ship:

The ship doesn't really fit with Freelancer's designs, looks like an import.

Really, when you build a ship for Dsicovery you cannot just build something that looks good and then slap it on top. Understand that Igiss wants Discovery to feel as much like Vanilla Freelancer as possible.

This does not feel like a Freelancer ship.
