You could try APNG, but I imagine Bear would stone you more passionately for file size if you did so.

GIMP uses GBR files as brushes. Not sure about ABR, though, I only have GBR brushes.

My current sig + avy are made of several brushes, are those bad, too? D:

ABR Works.. I use GIMP So yeah..
You put it in(for vista) c:users/<windowname/.gimp-2.6/brushes

Bar colour code.. You're own ship stats in the crossair..:
Green - Ammo .. most likely for torps.
Red - Hull
Blue - Shield
Yellow - energy
-- the blue along the right top is area is dark for engine stats.. stealth mode -still.. would be light blue if was moving.
so yeh.
