Furries are even less credible than purple squishy aliens. Don't give me that "LOOK AT PRIMUS MUNKYZ" because Primus was never intended to be a part of the game, only an easter egg.
Even 12 year old girls as Order Admirals are more believable than furries.
Yes, I expect a retort directed at me along the lines of "UR TAYLOR SWIFT STALKER".
I have pulled off "furry" several times without anyone noticing or minding.
Namely because I did it well. If you can do something plausibly and unobtrusively enough, I'd say go with it.
If it makes sense and doesn't disrupt peoples' RP or immersion, there's no reason for people to say "NOOOO WE HATES THEM" to your RP.
I think I might lend more thought to an old idea I had just to stick something up all your noses.
My character named after forum name is a telepath, sometimes this is annoying when others call me 'infected', but I never imagined someone can go even further: furries. It remind me Star Wars and Wookie's.
I'm just gonna say that I'm against the animal-people RP.
Not because they're Furries, or because I think they're weird and gross.
But because they don't make sense to me in this universe.
I like simple characters. They may not do simple things, but the people themselves are straight-forward. I don't like gimmicks and far-fetched excuses. Government experiments, alien-hybrids, magical sorcerers, radioactive-waste-created mutants...
Come on, guys. I know this is a largely unexplored science-fiction universe, but there's only so much I'll accept.
That said, I don't care how or what you RP. I respect the player's choices in making their characters, and if they want to make a super-human, telekinetic, cyborg cat-person, I'm not stopping them. I'll even play along.

I'll just roll my eyes from time to time.
Well, don't go with the stories they tell you. If someone stops you on the street and tells you a hair-raising-storry about something you don't believe him blindly either, do you? Just cope with these people in RP. We don't have to spread this matter out in the forums, or this is how I see it. Nothing to make a fuzz about.

It's not that, it's the OOC information that is given by the player that their character is a dragon winged, fur covered and yiff loving demi-god and if you dare disagree you must be metagaming.
Claiming to be such and such inRP isn't bad at all.
Claiming to be such and such OOC can be bad.
