Sorry to say again, but that is just ugly. You're trying to continue a one hit wonder, which, I'm sorry to say, in history has never worked. At all.

What's more, is when people wanted to replace the current LH Gunship model with one that looks better and fits into the line more, everyone defended your model by saying that since you made it, it shouldn't be taken out. Why should someone else's far superior work be taken out and replaced with your own?

The only "delutional" one is you - in that you have this utterly inexplicable fantasy that these models are actually somehow superior to those that already exist, and fit Freelancer better. I've got a very straightforward thing to say: They are not better. I can count those on my hands who like them. I need something a lot bigger to count those who don't. They do not fit Freelancer. They do not fit in Freelancer. They do not fit the Hackers. They don't look like Hacker ships. They don't look like anything that should ever be put in this game ever. They should never ever be put into this game. Ever.

Plenty of people agree with me.

Just so you know, you just fell headlong into my little trap there, and better than I could've expected. You not only flamed a totally calm post that wasn't nearly as tough on the poor modeling here as I'd normally be, but you also did it right after I predicted, and told you I'd predicted, you'd do so. As you may or may not know, the banking mob has begun trying to take over the whole world and this has made life especially hard. American has been recognized as THE most brutal police state the world has ever known. Hardships have made my work slow to slug-like speeds or I would have finished this model sooner as it is sort of "on order".

Seriously...How can you be a ship modeler when you are ignoring the criticism. Even the negative one is a good one. Your ship is not a bad one, but simply not fits into Discovery mod. If you will listen only to positive "i like ur ship, i want it in the mod, etc" you will never be a better modeler. I know what I am saying, becouse I am ship modeler too.

I do not envy you, I wish you only receive the good that may come out of using these ships that you specifically requested. I will not speak negatively of these ships as the people before me have. Instead, I will speak only of the positive aspects to having the amazing idea to combine the greatness that is the Lane Hacker Gunship's body, sized down to that of a fighter, with the epic design that is the Sabre wings, creating the two holes below the body of the ship that makes the Sabre so ungodly, with the short curved wings of the Falchion that makes it so small.

The only question I would have to ask is why... Why did you stop using the oval shape of the Lane Hacker Gunship's engines that people found so great?

But to be less flamey (I seriously apologize if that went too far..it was entirely meant as a joke in regards to the quoted phrase)

Being that restrictive, relying on a one-hit wonder's (as previously noted) design for the design of other ships that should have -some- similarities to the current LH ship, but not be an exact, scaled and bashed, duplicate of the design... simply isn't good.

Note the vanilla ships:
The Liberty Gunboat vs the Avenger (Not even close to the same model)
Rheinland Gunboat vs Wraith (again not close in design)
Kusari Gunboat and Chimaera (ok, you got me there, but they're still rather different in appearance)
etc
