I remember a while ago thinking this.
"4.85, OMG THE COALITION ARE HERE! THIS WILL MAKE THE BEST STORYLINE EVER!"
and then I was like...
"WTF is this French house doing here? The dev team hates new and wacky ideas!"
proceeding very quickly to...
"Hmm... It appears the Coalition are just a side faction and all epicness they will bring is being ignored"
now the only thing I can think is...
WHAT THE FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU-!?!/1/1!?ONE?!/?!??!?/1/?!??1!!!!?!?

I understand the wish to expand Sirius and all that lovely stuff but I remember being very disappoint at the new house that sneakerysecreted its way to hiding spot right next to the other houses and now wishes to WTF pwn everyone because they didn't pre-book the best sleeper-ship pad like the smart Bretonians and Libertonians.

There is so much potential for a Coalition plotline or a Da'am KaVosh plotline that bringing Frenchies into it seems a bit silly. However this actually does play into my RP story.

Bretonia needs a bit of a break, if the Corsairs get Cambridge, the Molly NPC's will still own Dublin and there are GRN everywhere else so there will be no place to fly a police character! One of the parties, preferably the Corsairs, needs to be driven back out of Bretonia thus allowing a tiny breathing space for the not entirely PvP obsessed BAF and BPA.

My opinion anyway, it’ll count for something when I create my own perfect universe...

At first:
Taking a stand for Igiss:
The plotline was obvious since the discovery of Reunion.
The news in the Council Space told you that the GRN is stronger than all the other houses together.
The news in Sirius told you that the Junkers where GRN spies.
The rumours in Sirius told you that the wars between the Houses where engineered by the Junkers.
The common sense told you that the GRN is weakening the Houses for a strike against all of Sirius.
I am an Independent telling you this.
If your factionleaders have not seen what was coming up and if they have not reacted in time, blame them, not Igiss. (Hint: elect new faction leaders if you feel miss lead.)

The plot line is just great, I would even ask some amendments/extensions:

DO let it have even MORE effect.
Do NOT JUST touch some border Systems of the Houses.
Crush them! Cripple them! Whipe them away! Show them the result of their ignorance of the Gallian situation and result of their local "point of view politics"! (Sorry folks but you RP'd your factions that way.)
Let us FEEL the IMPACT of Gallia!
Let us FEEL a L[color=#FF9900]IVING GALAXY!

2.:
Don't treat the Kusari as a strong faction.
They are weak! (Kusari is effectively (on the server) ruled by the OC's, BD's and GC's)
Be consistent and let the GRN wipe away the easiest of the Syrian opponents. (Restore an effective law enforcement in Kusari Space, what ever law that might be, under every circumstances.)
(Hint for Game Masters: For tactical reasons probably after the stronger BAF.)

I see the non-existent-Kusari wins again trend fails to reverse itself in the new version again.

3.:
Don't railroad the players.
Let us INTERFERE with the plotline!
Let us change the happenings by our actions on the server!
Be tolerant and generous with SRP's that interfere with your plotline.

What will come next:
[color=#FFFF00]Gallia will try to streamroll the Syrian Houses, no matter what they pretend.
And the Syrians will either stand together or fall divided.

The faction leaders affected were actively involved in this storyline, there's a thread about it on these forums even. If you weren't involved, it was probably you're own fault.

They were not.

People got over looked, it happens. It is being rectified.

If there was a thread certain faction leaders were not informed about its existence. And some of us have full time jobs, careers and actual lives to hold down, and don't have time to trawl the forums everyday reading every single post for anything that might or even slightly have bearing upon their factions. This does not mean that they are at fault. It means that they have been busy.

Show some respect to your fellow players and keep such flagrant flames to yourself.
