We had a station removed with the introduction of .85. There has been a warning given before that people should move their ships off that station because otherwise they would be lost. I think the same would happen for any other destroyed station in .86. If the stations just turns hostile there shouldn't be a problem to dodge your way out of it. <strike>Or just catch an admin in a good mood.</strike>

Well, thats what Roleplay is like. It adopts...

In the moment you start playing FL. You are everyting but a normal soldier.
Imagine, we are at best 200. populating this Galaxy!
The best interpretation that I have heard until now is that each of our ships stands for whole wings.
Or in other concepts: we ARE the BEST of the BEST. We ARE the ones who make the difference!
How ever you put it,.... this opinion (and on purpose I don't say your opinion for I know it is wide spread) is well.... dooming.
Especially for you I calculated the first numbers out of my Census.... hm... well, no ...I won't make them public now but I will send them to Igiss when I have finished (and I will adjust my rule suggestion).
Although not finished, the numbers are yet devastating for all that think that they could gain a majority or reign Sirius from here within the forums.
The GREAT majority of players does not bother for this forum and you either accept them, involve them and and make the plot visible to them, or you will loose the rest of them. What would follow would be a lonely server like some of the other Disco servers. Soon Sirius would feel so empty that even the factioners would be bored.
Stop seeing the indies as players of second class, be glad about thm and see them as an enrichment.
Then all of us will benefit.
You know what's the real reason for people, especially older players, increasingly leaving Disco? It's threads like this. Everybody here seems to play to win and bitches when his faction isn't faring as well as he'd like it to. It's everybody wanting the best for himself. Who cares about collaborative RP, about the fact that the player behind the guy losing iRP may still be a winner ooRP, or even such basic things such as, you know, realism and knowing your place in the universe (instead, people want to know when they'll finally get their fscking Battleship or custom shipline handed to them).
You know, I've seen quite a few other roleplaying communities, too. They all have their winning and losing groups, and sometimes, things get heated on their forums. But when the day's over, they're still a community - very much unlike Disco, where we not only have iRP, but also ooRP factions whining and going at each other's throats.
Don't take me wrong. If you don't like an idea or storyline introduced by the devs, by all means, say so. But offer constructive criticism, try to work together instead of against each other, posting crapposts and being otherwise idiotic. Stop complaining about being left out of the loop and get yourself in. It's not difficult. Simply show the will to participate, talk to Igiss and the story team, make suggestions - that's how I got in, and it's really not difficult as long as you show some motivation.

I for one would love to know exactly what the Dragons were supposed to be doing - while the KNF was getting its arse handed to them by the GRN.
Mind that the Emperor is still the same. only the Shogun is a new one. But yeah, I'm interested in some intel about the new inner situation in Kusari too. The Blood Dragons and the Farmers are probably the ones who are hardest to evaluate right now.

Maybe we are the best pilots. That doesn't make everyone of us a part of the government/high command/whatsoever. And unless you are part of that, you are an average soldier. a very skilled one but yet an average soldier.

their fault. If they don't participate on the forums there's no way how we would know about their desires. This server includes forum roleplay. You can live without, yes, but then you'll stay a regular soldier.

Has nothing to do with the above. I've been an indy myself for about a year and have been on the forums too. Furthermore official faction have higher responsibilities, hence they should get something in exchange too.
Oh, and stop doomsaying. This isn't the first mod update and progress in the storyline. In fact the last one increased the player count instead of lowering it. And guess what? It added a rather boring Gallia which wasn't connected to the rest of Sirius in any way. And people still went there.
