I for one would love to know exactly what the Dragons were supposed to be doing - while the KNF was getting its arse handed to them by the GRN.
This and i would kinda like to know if there might have been any changes of the GC that somehow have not reached my end.
It might also be interesting to know if the new Kusarian government is doing any changes to the situation of womens in Kusari.
' Wrote:Now you see - the thing I dont understand is that - Kusari gets beaten about as badly as they can get beaten by the Gallics - to the point where they have to concede right back to tau-29 (as a buffer zone). Yet no mention of the Dragons, who stayed out of the Bretonian war, just waiting for the moment when Kusari would be at its weakest?
Did they just sit back and watch? Did they join in the fight alongside the KNF against the garlic-munching gaijin? Did they attack enmasse at the soft underbelly of Kusari whilst the war was being lost?
It just seems to me that - after all this turnaround of events - the Dragons STILL cant clinch a decisive victory out of this. The Kusari government's only political fallout after having their war plans crushed was what? The head of the armed forces is removed?
Ultimately, its not about winning or losing - it is about hope. On first glance, after all the centuries, the Dragons cannot capitalise on what is probably their best chance of victory - a decisive end to the Bretonain War at Kusari's expense - with a loss of support for the militaristic government in Kusari.
If the Dragons fail to make an impact during these momentous times - then what relevance do they have in Kusari, beyond being pirates?
These are soul-searching questions I would expect Dragons to be asking themselves.
Not to mention this.
It also seems odd that there yet has not been a single mention of the GC in that text, but i guess there will be in one of the following parts of the storyline, amirite?
In a brilliant tactical movement, i charged backwards.
As usual, almost no words of thanks for the trouble and time the writers put in the story.
Show some freakin' graditude guys. Let's see how this works out in game before the usual whining starts.
I personally like it. Gallia will get more activity like this. Kusari will be revived. the BAF gets to fight a real war now. As will the Outcasts, no doubt.

Some time ago, I have spoken in RP and OORP that it would be something like this that gets the houses of Sirius and even the un-lawfuls to put aside differences and pull together. I thought this may be it and I wasn't far off. I still believe that the only way Sirius can push Gallia back is to pull together.
The fate of the Zoners? Since we have a healthy presence in the Taus, (FP10, FP6) and TAZ's own system of Baffin is an easy gateway into Liberty, I foresee us having some big decisions to make. Since Aurelia DeFrance is still hated for treason against the Zoners, I suspect they'll finally fight back.
They could also be seen as a value for commodities. Definitely a lot of possibilities. I haven't been clued into anything as to what the Zoners may be handed.
But Igliss, nice story line. I'd just like more details on us Zoners.
New trade commodities:
Stinky cheese, baguets, french maid uniforms.
I only approve of the last.........
So... I think there gonna be some SERIOUS skype chats tonight about how people are responding. How this is going to affect things etc etc.
Also... How much time has passed between now and that mod? A year? 2? What did your faction do in that time....
Big decisions...
I reckon we gonna need a new forum for official factions to announce their stuffs.
I'm not a colonial but a little sad they didn't crack a mention. Maybe get in bed with gallia and attack bretonia all over again? Time to think on some diploomacy!
Ok, I read it a few times and actually looked at the angles this new story was attempting to get at, and it made sense. Not complete sense, but it made enough. I still have my reservations regarding this story line, but it is done quite well. As Doc said, I would like to see the impact it has on the Zoners, being that they do have quite the presence in the Taus.

Since I wasn't involved in the plot as a Kusari faction leader (not that I have a major problem with that, I was busy with rl and I'm kinda new to leading a faction), I have to say I have no idea what will happen with Dragons and GC and FA and Hogosha and all the factions within Sirius since the Shogun has changed.
Shogun is one of the key persons in Kusari, but I want to wait and see what will happen with rest of the stories and will someone actually contact me for any opinion of my own.
As for the Dragons, they have always had a noble goal and will continue to be ignored / receive donations from Kishiro| unless developers have something else in mind.
As for the GC and the woman's rights things, that's all up to the Emperor, not the shogun. Although shogun can petition the emperor for more woman rights, that's not why the shogun got installed there. he's a war advisor, not a domestic problem solver.
As for current Kishiro| stance towards women, the women have full job opportunities all the way up to management to work for Kishiro, and as for the GC, I hope they will stay hunted as they were. The Cardamine use, and the violence is what distracts the young Kusari women and lures them to ranks of GC while they could have had a proper job in Kishiro. Along with the GC being a nuisance in Kusari, the Kishiro has no desire to open the negotiation doors with them, unless they're ready for rehab, and gun control.
note that, again, this is Kishiro's opinion, and any developer / igiss words will alter these easily.
