Kusari Carrier

I have made a Kusari Carrier - though, since it is only 20% textured - I want to make sure if anyone agrees with this and if the [KNF] Fleet Admiral Approves of this.

Discuss, if you may.

If it looks Kusari, and fits like a glove, then sure.

If it's clunky like the Lib Carrier or Rheinland Battleship... :/

Don't they have enough Capital Ships already? Gb, Dessie, Battleship + whatever the Emperor's unique ship is, and I heard something about a Battlecruiser now as well, plus now a carrier?

Not every faction needs the same ships.

All carriers do is make people Q_Q about not having the ability to dock with player ships. Plus the Kusari BB is already a heavy battleship, so what purpose does a Kusari Carrier serve?

Kusari already has a paper-thin GB, another paper-thin GB (but with LMs this time), they're getting a BC (as far as I'm aware), and have one of the larger battleships. (I acknowledge the Satsuma's existence, but it is not part of their main cap line any more than the Persephone is a part of the Zoner line.)

Explain to me the intended pvp-niche of your vessel, and I'll comment from there.

As for the model, it looks kinda cool, but it looks even more like something you use to slice sushi with than the original drafts of the Satsuma (which actually had a full sword onthe front). I can't really give suggestions on where to go with it until I know where it's supposed to end up, though- form should reflect function.

I dont think they have any real need for a carrier. The only time they operate away from 'home' is with the bretonia war, and they've got bases throughout the taus and even in leeds now. The Kusari Battleship is one of the largest in the game and can easily fill a carrier role if needed.

Kusari doesnt need anything else by way of ships right now.

After seeing the model you've made for this ship that actually popped back into my head. With a few modifications, this thing wouldnt make a half bad order carrier.

The little dish thingy on top resembles the similar structure on the zoner fearless destroyer, I like how the launch bays on the side look. The front would need to be made a little thicker and more liberty dreadnaught-style, and the little pagoda-style structures on top of the ship would need to be removed, and have the typical liberty/order "trash can" put on top of the ship. Past that it'd probably need some of those thin railings coming out of the circular structures on the side removed, less decorative and more utilitarian.

Cant really tell what the back looks like, but it probably wouldnt take much to give it an osiris-style engine section.
