The fights were really epic, I joined in my bomber while the GRN was still fighting in Orkney, we pushed forward through Tau-23 to 31 and finally Holman...Only thing I really didn't like was how the stations and weapon platforms kept firing when we "took" the Jumpgate to Tau-31. Same with the Yamaguchi above Holman.
The Reunion should've been "GRN" at this time already, so the KNF couldn't have docked on it.

But, all in all it were some great fights. I hunt those Dessies with my bombers, got at least three "killing blows" and helped to kill at least 6 or 7 with my bomber...was damn funny, but ... I still can't hit anything with a bomber when fighting against fighters...
Switched to a Kusari Dessie later (ja...I complained about them spamming them, but I wanted to try them myself...) and helped with the attack pushing the GRN back to Orkney and "defeating" them there. - But, I didn't go further in than Reunion, didn't like them going into Gallia and all what happened after that.

Still - very nice fighting!

You have a "player account" you can use. I'd suggest you use it more, to be honest. Like it or not, your status as "Janitor" still means you have to put on the same goody-two-shoes face the other admins put on. Otherwise, you can/should use your regular account. The AL Guy account was supposed to be reserved for posts related to server issues and assistance, etc, etc, etc, not really for posting your personal opinion.

Using that account is like an admin donning the majestic "Admin hat" which changes font color or something like that. How would you appreciate it if you thought you were having a good time with some other folks who you thought were having a good time... then you got yelled at by someone who is obviously in with the admins and has access to the server? Not to mention having rules quoted at you. Probably not great.

Anyway. Thought of a few more things I'd like to see improved:

Weapon loadouts on ships. I mean. Come on.
  • Every fighter had 6 hull busters and a Mini Razor. Useless against a cap's shields. Makes fighters less useful in this.
    Bombers had mosquito CDs. No way to stop a fleeing battleship. Train CD for someone please?
    I know the Chimeara had an Imp. CM instead of Enh. I didn't check other ships.
    Everyone had Discovery Scanners instead of superior Adv. Cargo Scanners.

    KNF Destroyer had three battle razors. THREE. That's too many. Two is enough. Three is a waste.
    GRN Cruiser had 1 pulse turret, as far as I am aware. Completely pointless.
    Battleships had FOUR Flak turrets. That's like mounting 2 CDs on a bomber, with this mod version.
    KNF Battleship had 2 pulse turrets that were in bad positions. Poor firing arcs and no rear fire (if I remember correctly).
Who designed these ship loadouts?... Would take me 15 seconds per ship on the server manager to make a good loadout for each of these craft. Few other problems, but those are just personal preference over useless (like I prefer 4 EMP Cannons on my bombers, but whatever). And I'm sure there's more, I just don't remember or was too busy having fun to care.

I have to say, for a primarily PvP event, the ships themselves were poorly thought out.

Also, as I said in an earlier past. Battleships need a cool down. Half an hour would be enough, probably.
Maps. We have a way to make a full map. Could live with one being given to us with the /restart.

I was PMing the responsible people with suggestions on loadouts and stuff for a week, only to be ignored.

It's also possible to edit equipment sold on each base server-side.


Bases and issues with them

- could have for example set rep-ninja to full green to IMG bases to everyone, that way they wouldn't ever start shooting on anything


Agree on the BS cooldown, it takes quite long to down any battleship, when the same one comes back before you manage to kill the next one, it feels a bit pointless. (this was happening on both sides).


A lot of small things.

Dont forget, this is -all- of the ships on the server. Not online at the same time

Alot of people just went right off the bat and made one of each ship. And then played say... their bomber.

Note the amount of Kusari Desu Spam. Why is it the equivalent of how many batlteships we have? Its rediculously small.

Number of Kusari Battleship........58, up 12 | Number of Gallic Battleship..........79, up 30
Number of Kusari Destroyer........74, up 30 | Number of Gallic Cruiser.............54, up 14

Our count of cruisers is as low as Kusari Battleships because it truely sucks vs Kusari Desu Spam.
Three Kusari Destroyers can fit inside the damned GRN Cruiser

Not saying much, as I remember the GRN cruiser is obnoxiously large compared to any other cruiser. (Goodness knows, I could be wrong.)
