I don't think talking about the playerbase is very conducive to the conversation. Obviously the BAF has more players. The BAF brought in more allies to help (maybe). Cool. That's about performance which Cannon or any of the Admins cannot effect. Lets talk about the event objectively.

Just to reiterate, I think this event really helped with blunt time in activity, but I think the activity was tedious and secluded. Really the same kind of thing could have been achieved by sitting afk outside of Planet Cambridge while Battleship NPCs protect you from Corsair NPCs. Whether or not it was a mission, random NPC spawns, or whatever, there's really no incentive for anyone to actually go near a populated zone and do anything challenging.

What I think should happen next time is that the NPCs should be a specific type. Maybe Trader NPCs or higher level military ones, but definitely not anything as simple to kill as a level 6-8 Dragon or Crusader. The NPCs should really draw people towards populated zones where there will be interactions. It should be better for someone to try to hold his TL where Samura spawns than for him to just give up the ground and go somewhere else to tediously kill small fries. I don't feel like interaction was encouraged here. If the event were to be repeated, I think it should be more specific than killing any faction NPC of any level in an area.

But I will say it was a very good start and I really like the idea. There's a beta test to everything, and though a lot of people thought Guild Wars: Factions was the worst of the series, I really think that without it, Guild Wars: Nightfall would have been much worse than it turned out to be. I'd like to see more events going in different directions from this one.

Sorry that the daily updates were not published. I was called out of the country at short notice and spent 3.5 days on a plane. I'm back and conscious now...

Congratulations to the BAF. You successfully terminated many thousands of Kusari pilots. The survivors scream in terror at your fighting prowess.
