LN banned my bs from fight because we want fair fight...(there was only [LN] BS and from RM was indie BS.)
and if you want to join.. ask on forum or take fighter.

so may I ask you.... where was stated that LN can ban someone from taking part? I dont want to fight my bs against fighters.. but 2 dreads against 1 bs IS this really unfair?

I said for you not to bring your BS because I had been talking to Voelkel for the past 20 minutes trying to organise the fleets to be balanced. I don't really care about RP in something like this, I prefer everyone to enjoy themselves, and the other person would have not had fun if he was destroyed by 2 of us in Dreads.

I was in charge of the LN side of that battle. If you don't like how I did it, well, tough. Complain to JihadJoe or another Admin. Is it unfair? Yes. Does it ruin someones evening? Yes. If you dislike it, you're welcome to go and gang up on someone else in your own time, but expect me to find a friend to do the same to you, and we'll see if you still think it's fun.

I was waiting for this event from 16.00 gmt.. and then in 17.20 you showed up and told me that I can't join in bs.. take fighter. I have already alot of fighter fights.. and I was waiting for some cap battle.. but eh. you told that this event should be fun to everyone. so you prefered some rhenlandisher instead of me.. oh I'm sorry I forget that you don't care about RP part of event.

Lay your capwhore being down. If we say that fight was unfair and advise you to take fighter - you can either grab it, or just ignore the event. We have joined primary fleet not for nothing. If there is a thing we have control over indies, so to say, then it's battle.

[LN] guys are the ones who coordinate such events. To avoid further misunderstandings please contact these guys before rushing onto battlefield. That is all.

I didn't say anything because I was busy shooting, but please, read the introduction text for the event, its open to EVERYBODY, including and especially indies. The Xenos had every right to be there and neither the LN nor the RM has the right to tell them to stay out. This is NOT an official faction event.

Keep that in mind please, and don't tell others to piss off.

A wild goose chase (RP story)

I believe I'm responsible for this lil' balance issue as well. On the RM side, I personally didn't have trouble with the indies, but we discussed with Seth who to bring and who not to bring to avoid the usual gankage we have to face during our fights against any LN entities (mainly due to the fact that the LN indies usually swarm the field).

We wanted a fair fighter fight without any caps coming in and spoiling it. The Battleships wanted a duel. The cruisers wanted a duel. Fair? Fair.

What if the LNS caps burst into a fighter fight with BCs and Dreads? It may make sense in RP, but it would totally spoil a fair fighter fight. Since the RM only had two caps present which fought the other two caps, a swarm of LNS vessels into a fighter fight would have spoiled the whole thing.

I have no idea what exactly happened in Texas though that created such a feedback, but I appreciate Seth's efforts to keep things clean.
