I advise all pilots to be cautious in Tau 23 due to the MORE unexpected guests that I have encountered there. For some reason the Farmer's Aliance decided to make regular patrols there with fully armored Gunboats...they haven't caused any problems yet though.
Today was quite the..... Interesting day. A ALG tagged Border World Transport flying under Identification "Nyx" began to steal ore from the Cobalt fields, who i and a kruger ship where mining. He was stealing from the Stuff we mined. The RHA arived, and after a chase, He was shot down by my Ship. He had a Escort called "Dick" who was dealed with by Rhineland Forces. Attached is the Kill Confirmation.
Boss, while i was mining in Omega-7 a pair of Hessians attempted to force me to buy their ore, when i refused as i did not have the credits they assaulted me, i managed to escape barely, but ah' banged mah head on the console when they hit me good.
I recommend you talk to the RHA about these two idiots and remind them of what they'v got ta'h lose when they mess with miners who are free.
So good to be back in business. Yesterday, I helped the gunners from Java to repel an Outcast raid. With the help of a colonial and two mercs, the first Outcast ship exploded. It was a Tridente gunship well armored. After that I decided to support from long range but one by one, our forces had to exit the fight. The colonial had some technical problems and asked for emergency docking, one of the mercs ran away and the other one was destroyed by an Outcast Sabre. So there he was, a sniffer with air instead of brains decided to engage my gunboat. Bad idea. He was killed.
After this incident, I received a transmission from the captain of another Hydra. He donated to the IMG some equipment and I think I saw an experimental weapon in those containers. It is stored on my ship, in Tau-44.
Well today started great, hired a couple of miners they were able to fill me up about 4 times in my Heavy Tanker. It was looking good for me and my pockets were getting big. Lucky i had another Transport with me, Tiger.Stripe, who was able to help aid it the Transport of Ore.
We were on our 2nd run on the way back from New Tokyo with Optical chips. I had my feet up and the music blairin all was too easy. We were aproching our drop point for the chips when we caught a hostial on out long range scanners.
Tiger.Stripe went first thru the lanes in Stuttgart. " Insurgent|Black-13 sighted" he screams over the comms. as he slips by him unnoticed.
"Roger That"
I wake my crew and begin to prepare all defenses. lucky I am equipped with all the best equipment Sirius has to offer so if any thing i would just have to hold out until help arrived. I began my decent to the Omega 7 Jump gate when the lane was disrupted by none other Than That Unioner Insurgent|Black-13!!
"Here we go"
"Stop you engines" He shouts as tho i was def.
"And what does this pleasure of meeting you have in store for me?" i ask in fear for my life.
Well He demands some credits and need less to say he would be the last guy i would ever pay. I notice a boarder station only 24 clicks away and decide to make a run for it!!
*Shields fail*
I regen, take a couple of SNACs, and wiggle my way to the station (straight lines = Bad ) i make it with plenty of Regens and hull, thankfully. I go to the bar and stare at him through the windows, mocking his effort.
I call for back-up from a trusted [RM] who was able to come assist me in my will to make it to Omega 7. he begins to confront the Unioner only to exchange fire and later turn into a blood bath. A lone Hessian was there as well observing the situation and asked if i was doing fine. I told him about the Unioner and what he had tried to do and well...The Hessian wasn't very happy to hear some Unioner was attacking a miner friend. He ask if he could help assist and i said it would be delightful.
Before i know it i see the [RM] get abliterated into space crumbs. Then seconds later i see the Insurgent go down!! i was so happy at this point. I could now undock and continue my Trade free of greedy pirates. I thanked my Hessian companion and he informs me he was some kind of Rhienland spy.
All in all it was a good time. a lot of action for a slow route, it helps to keep me on my toes and aware indeed. So all you traders out there be careful and keep out a watchful eye.
I continue my trade and hope only my life and the crew aboard are safe and well feed.
1.: Install the TS3 Cliend as Admin. (quit TS if it shows up after installation)
2.: Start TS3 Client as User.
3.: Click on Settings->Options. 3.1.:There you Click on Playback and adjust "Voice Volume Adjustment" to +10dB
Click on Apply. 3.2.: Click on Capture and set the radiobutton to "Push To Talk". Moreover click on
"No Hotkey Assigned" and press a key that you use very seldom, for example
"Alt". Furthermore click on advaned below and select all buttons in there, don't
select echo reduction if not necessary.
Click on OK.
4.: Click on Connections->Connect and enter the following Data in the following fields:
Adress: 66.55.131.26
Port: 9147
Nickname: *your nickname*
Password: discovery
Click on OK.
5.: Click on Bookmars->Add to Bookmarks and than OK.
6.: Click on the "+" in front of "General Chat", Scroll down, and DoubleClick on "Tau-Lawful".
A Password field appears into which you enter the Password that you where given over
Skype or PM.
The Windows standart settings for sound recording produce an echo, so we continue with Step 7.: In the right lower corner of your screen, you should see a speaker button, rightclick on it, and choose "Open Volume Control" or "Volume Control Panel"(or something similar, for my Windows is not the English version). 7.1.: Now a window opens with some controls or regulators. In that window click on "Options" in the upper left, check "Advanced Settings".
Click on "Options" again and click on "Preferences" or "Settings". 7.2.: Now select the radiobutton "Recorder" or "Recording" and check all the boxes in the field below.
Click on OK. 7.3.: Now we are back in the window with the regulators. Here you check the button in the "Microphone" row, which should uncheck the button in the "What U Hear" row automaticly.
Click on "Advanced" in the "Microphone" row. 7.4.: Check "Microphone Boost (+20dB)" in the lower field and click on "Close". 7.5.: Close the "Volume Control Panel".

Unfortunately, Bill.Fender's Vessel was destroyed during the combat, ZED did recover its pod hopefully.
The Mining Operations Resumed, and no visitors were severely injured from the incident.
