After talking with majkp, we decided to test a 65 player limit for the RP server.

You might have noticed that the server tends to hit 55 players quite often, and also, that there is little lag too. So increasing the slots to 65 seems like a good idea.

Also, we are soon going to change the server's mother board for a new, more OC friendly one. That will allow us to hit higher clock speeds with the CPU, and host even more players.

Report lag and server problems here. Don't forget to mention the time of the day (in GMT), and the amount of players at that moment.

Yes, and could you also please post if you experience any erratic NPC movement when there are 50+ players. Please try to distinguish the normal erratic movement caused by internet (because of your distance e.g.) and the one that is done by server lagging itself (even without yellow/red lag icon).

Yes, I installed a new motherboard and overclocked the server more today. So I increased it to 75. But it should be capable of more, we'll see. I prefer small steps, instead of great jumps and totally lagged server...:)

If this works well, i will suggest to up the player count to 90, and see what happens.

When we changed the limit from 55 to 65, server filled up in less than 2 hours. I don't know if we will have 90 users at a given time, but the more max slots we have, the lower the chance to find the server full.
