This communication is to be directed to the communications arrays of all Council representatives available. I Alain Tessier hereby request to contract the supply of oil to the The Scarlet Pimpernel Society of Barrier Gate Station, Coronado.
Goods as requested.
You have my name, you can check. I am an expatriated Gallic citizen in a position to help other, similarly inclined persons. But for that I need supplies, and as of now that means oil.
A substantial portion of all available technologies is of domestic, and that is to say Gallic construction. Their Sirian alternatives are not to my liking, nor to those who I have taken in. To use what we have we require supplies. Please forward any further questions.

Monsieur Tessier, I must admit, you are not doing a good job of compelling me to help you. Your name does not turn up anything too significant, at least in my eyes. Oil is an extremely valuable resource, one that the Republique absolutely requires to carry on its objectives of Liberation. Prove your worth, then we shall talk on real terms.
Bien a vous,
Jean-Francois Dassault, Amiral
Republique de Gaule.
That is perfectly fine, if you choose to deny me I have alternatives I can rely on to get me the goods I seek. Perhaps one of the other vying Council derivatives will be more willing, or perhaps The Corse will be more kindly.
I completely understand your willingness to turn your back on our people who have chosen to flee this grotesque war and condemn them to a state of suffering, truly, truly I do. Afterall you are fighting a war, these people are only fighting to survive.

Subject: Is that so?
Priorities, mon cher.
While your actions are commendable, providing you with even half the supply of oil you requested would be a grossly inefficient use of available resources. We must not only fuel the war effort, we must also tend to the millions of Gallic citizens who have chosen to resist tyranny and seek to permanently delete it. They are the vanguard of a free and republican Gallia. That in itself is a noble cause for which we must invest mind, body and soul. I am merely doing my part in an infinitely larger struggle. I'm sure, Monsieur Tessier, that you understand.
With that said, I'm still willing to talk. What can you propose, camarade?
Veuillez agreer, monsieur, mes salutations les meilleurs.
Jean-Francois Dassault, Amiral
Republique de Gaule.
Monsieur Dassault I very much understand your situation, and it is by all means a very harsh one. But with that said Ive undertaken a very harsh struggle myself and I am simply unprepared to turn my back on it.
If the issue is the amount then we can negotiate that, I have asked for more than I need expecting this already. If the issue is of principle perhaps we can reach a mutual understanding?

Subject: Agreement.
Principle is not the problem, here. I am an organizer by nature but above all, an adamant republican. As such, our pursuits are largely compatible, at least on a philosophical level.
Putting issues of logistics aside for the moment, tell me the minimum amount of Oil you would require to sustain your operations, in quantity of barrels (unit). I will see if I can free the requested quantities from our aggregate inventories and we will clarify the rest from there.
Cordialement votre,
Jean-Francois Dassault, Amiral
Republique de Gaule.
Ah this is most pleasing news. I must admit I was quite hesitant to have begun communications with Council representatives, that however seems to have been foolish.
As a bare minimum to maintain the technologies we have brought from the homeland and established
in our current residence 2,500 barrels would be required for continued operations. A more ideal amount would be that of 3,000 barrels which would allow us to stockpile a surplus in case of catastrophe or emergency.

After a quick review of our aggregate stockpiles, we surmised that we can liberate exactly 4,000 (four thousand) barrels of Oil, crude and untransformed, ready for immediate transport.
If this is satisfactory, we will discuss logistics.
Respectueusement votre,
Jean-Francois Dassault, Amiral
