Hi, I came here to ask you why are you doing this.
It happens that I am a new player trying hard to integrate with this awesome game community.
It happens also that for that, I chose to play smugglers cause I believe they are really entertaining.
On the other hand, it happens that smuggling rp oportunities involving several players are not that many (or so it seems).
Now, I respect your decision over what you told M&L, just wanted to tell you that maybe behind that, there was a noob like me, hoping to earn some 3-5 millions as a symbolic gratitude for helping a faction in achieving their rp goals. I know that a few millions is not big money for you, and even for me is not the big deal, but it would have meant a lot to my... call it "feeling of integration with the community".
I delivered those 3136 engine components at Westfalen, as a Mallory & Lambert indie contractor, and did it because my char likes risks, and it supposed one. M&L are also working hard on getting the company running, and it's sad to see a long running faction such as LN to look down on independent rp stories.
If you are so kind to explain why you do so, I would be pleased to hear.

They're not looking down on you. No-one is getting paid for it, and they probably never were going to make an exception for you. As it happened, you asked to be paid to deliver goods just as the event was almost concluded. That's not sound business sense.
If you are looking for a solid contract though, see about delivering H Fuel to New London for the Bretonians. They'd probably be happy to arrange some sort of contract with you.
I'm a smuggler my friend, I already smuggle thingies into your house.
This just was a special event and I wanted to participate in it, but not so philantropically.
Yes, they proved able to comply with the event on their own practically, as in less than 24 hours they lolachieved it. It would have been more fun letting all have fun.
There is nobody who was actually paid by the [LN] to particpate in that event, and while we are thankful for your support in it, both in and out of character, there's no way I'd be able to afford paying a reasonable sum of credits to everyone who helped.
The event wasn't organised by the [LN], but rather by the admin team. Infact from an admin perspective it kinda took me by surprise. I had no idea when it was going to happen, and the first I heard about it's date and time, was when I woke up the other day to find an event already happening.
Well... character name; not really relevant, screenshots; didn't take any...
Just a small note anyway. Came flying past Manhattan with my trader and gave my greetings to everyone, as always. I saw an [LN] there which is a little exciting normally. A few of the other characters present said hello, nothing from the Guardian parked on Trenton. Spent a minute there, undocked and flew off to Penn and back; 5 minutes later came through again; Guardian hadn't moved, and didn't respond to my verbal prods.
I don't mind people not talking, but if you're not talking and not flying and you're sitting in space with a faction tag, that makes me raise an eyebrow.
They could have been afk for any number of reasons. I myself have fallen asleep while flying before, and found myself not dead the next day. Sometimes it's a mistake, sometimes things just come up that need to be dealt with. It happens to everybody, though I'll tell people to avoid it if they can. I have a feeling that they already do though.
Regardless of that though, I like your satirical take on Darxy.
Oh, and they might've been RPing with somebody else. Can't respond to everybody if you're being poked by five people demanding your attention. Even if it's just one, the temptation is there to ignore everybody except the one that matters to you at the time, and I can't tell people to give everybody a response in those cases.

If you could give me the name of that individual, I would be appreciative. It may well be he was afk and idling in space., I have recently told one member in particular not to do that, after I spent five minutes yelling his name in PM before he finally responded.
