Same here, and the old skool TBH. And the old skool ore piracy. Also Caylith, Mal, Tidomann, and Evil Joker. The crazy 30 second/1 million credit trade run. Recruiting new Hogosha pilots as an Angel.
I miss the simplicity of things back in 83 where the community was smaller and the need for rules less important.
I cannot agree more, but my favorite route was from Honshu to Akita station...it helped buy Virginia system for [SA] now [LN]. Those were truly hectic and glorious days.
I miss being able to charge into battle at 350m/s all guns blazing...
i miss the fact that EVERYONE did the noob run, leaving the rest of sirius a traders dream.
i miss the guys and gals i used to fly with... and the pirates i used to avoid
I don't really know the old days, but... I enjoy the game right now, and I think that in a a year or 2 I would be like: "Oh 4.85 was great! Much better then!" and everybody uncluding those who already posted here about how they missed the old days would totally agree. The reason is simple, we remember the good things about it, about the bad things... we don't care they are no longer a problem and we probably have forgotten about it.
