I have station my ship out side of Planet Gran Canaria in Omega 49 and I am Disturbed of high activity of Pirates useing Gran Canaria as a place of refuge for there illegal dealings.

Please advise on actions for this matter.

If there is an increased activity of unaligned pirates in Omega 49, and they are using Gran Canaria as a staging ground, you can be sure that the EDF will increase patrol patterns there again.

Do you have any video footage of these pirates?

We wish names and possible vessel types.

I also wish to know if they have been aggressive against those that inhabit the planet and if they have "Pirated" pilots and ships in Omega 49.

Here's gun cam evidence of two pirates that used Gran Canaria to do there dealing's.

But there are about ten in total.
There has been no aggression seen by me but i think thay are keeping a low profile to keep under the radar.

I have a substantial ship to take up post at Gran Canaria untill thay are delt with.

If the pirates does actively do dealings such as pirating with any Zoners or close to the planet i'd advise to either call for assistance or threaten them and tell them to leave.

We shall increase activity as ive said, to further assist you.

I too have seen a number of pirate activity in the area but since they tend to not bother me, I've pretty much left the issue alone. But, having said that, it reminds me of a time in the old Council of Zoners when the idea was proposed to make all of Omega 49 a no-fire, no pirate zone. The measure was narrowly defeated. Perhaps this issue should be re-visited again.
