Joined BMM--why so many people hate me?

I've come a long way, but obviously stupid questions still aren't behind me.

So as part of trying to get my mining bonus for Gold and Niobium under the BMM flag, I swapped my Miner ID for a brand new Bretonia Mining and Minerals ID.

I didn't expect so much to change with a simple ID swap.

Don't misunderstand me---I did my research! I looked into who I'd be hostile with and who BMM is at war with... but i didn't expect those people to be ALL over Bretonia space... why is it that at least one station or planet in almost every system in Bretonia is hostile to me? This is my Home, right?

Did i miss something?

Well, there is at least one station hostile to you in Bretonia because each Bretonian system has at least one pirate base if memory serves, so that's why you're hostile to at least one station per Bretonian system.

I don't think he's talking about those, unless pirate stations float around planets and trade lanes in Bretonia.

I concur. The hostiles i'm referring to are the stations at planets... even the trade-lanes shoot at me!

You're either hostile to Bretonian Armed Forces, Police or a Bretonian corporation. Every NPC in the immediate vicinity will turn hostile if one of them does.
